From Exploit Attack Detection till to the fix in less than 3 hours. That is really good.

I bet you just made the Attacker upset. He/she/it sure has hoped to gather more coins. Smiley

Well, I'm still getting more coins. All network should be updated, it isn't enough to just commit a fix.
Money is not my motivation anyway. Probably will donate this to some open source project.

Feel free to help out if you're so inclined, and next time just email me when you find something  Grin

I thought this was hilarious.

I invested fiat in DRK as well, after I'd mined my first Masternode-and-a-half, mainly because Evan was clearly not only skilled, but he enjoyed his work. It's in the tone of so many of his posts - this guy is having fun.  Grin

I just had a hilarious...

If LiteCoin is the Silver to BitCoin's Gold, then DRK is and Unobtanium/Adamantiumn alloy.

If you're going to use elements to name releases, may as well me a man about it...
Darkcoin is Platinum to bitcoins gold
No. DRK is something we've never seen before.

I must concur you are very correct in that.

Hi I have a question,

Coins101 sent me a link to this supposed conversation on Darkcointalk.org:  https://darkcointalk.org/conversations/the-drk-franchise.1166/page-2#message-8038

When I followed the link it asked me for my password and login name which I really wondered about. Out of curiosity, I logged in and it told me the conversation was inexistent. Is anyone aware of this conversation, is it because I wasn't officially invited that I couldn't access it? Was it a hack, lol don't want to seem paranoid but I'v had to fend off hacking attacks already and I need to know if I have to call my guys again... Thanks for any info on this…. Coins101?

What should we name this release?
Lets name them after cloud types.

Nimbus, Cirrus, Stratus...
No, we should do like Ubuntu, but with stripper names...
That could work - it's certainly one way of appealing to a presumably predominantly male crypto scene. Do you mean just the name, like Darkcoin Amber, Bambi and Candy or keeping even closer to Ubuntu naming convention by using names such as Ambidextrous Amber, Bamboozling Bambi, Cantankerous Candy etc.?
Hmmm, maybe I'm thinking of redneck strippers...

Wide WIlma
Slimy Cindy
Diseased Debbi
Toothless Thelma (can't properly pronounce her own name, ask me how I know this)

It gives a broader (no pun intended) choice of naming. You'll run out of onyx and such pretty fast. I, frankly, do not want o be immortalized.

You can put any adjective that you'd not ever want to use for a stripper, along with an alliterated first name of pretty much anyone... Name pool = large and hilarious.

Large Marge
Big Bertha
Blistered Barbi
Bruised Bambi
Drunk Donna
Ginormous Ginger
Smelly Sue
Crusty Kristy

Warning, most messed up song you've ever heard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMGVMtnxXEw

I never knew missing children could be so sexy...

It's certainly promising.

Reminds me of the old Garbage Pail Kids cards from back in the day. Made me smile.  Smiley

I will definitely run some more tests with darksend.
Good to hear, your input is really appreciated.

If you (or anyone else?) happen to find more bugs, I would imagine a bounty could be arranged. What do everyone else think?
+101 I'll contribute to that.

I'm on the latest github updates.
AFAIK, it is reporting that it is disallowing spoofed MNs (likely the attackers).
It is winning and reporting that it beat a loser, no?

Dude, everybody here who has Darkcoin is loosing money when price drops
Only if you sell...

I'm still way up from my buy-in positions. Of course, I'm not here fora "to da moon" ride, either. It's just a fringe benefit of being not a cryptotard.
NEVER CHECK DA PRICE, BELIEVE IN DA TECH....
I check the price, but only as an indicator of whether or not the human race is still trash or not.

It is.

HAHAHA Tell us how you really feel, bud!

Ladies and gents.

Please note that at this time, until EVERYBODY updates their masternode, we are vulnerable to this exploit.

Lets spend a bit more time talking about this!

PLEASE! EVERYBODY UPDATE!

Masternodes are updated. Do pools need to as well? I'd imagine so.
