.25 btc for a domain name. I should get in the domain squatting business.

I think he will only take DRK  Wink

Lol, check out his website, ironically it only mentions BTC as a payment method.

Domain is nothing worth then the price payed for registration of the domain, there is no developed site on the domain so value is nothing more then registration price.

Hey now, come on, it takes a lot of time and dedication to register a domain name. Plus it looks like this individual splurged and bought the whosguard privacy protection as well. That's like ten extra bucks! I'll give you three darkcoin's and a potato for it.

*Not a fan of domain squatters.

Hello, Guys, we are thrilled so far with the performance of our release. It seems like not only people are interested on this subject, the article was of very good quality and is being well received by many publications. So far I can confirm around 239 online publications that have posted our article (I have the benefit of the tracking tools), and that number should go up in the next 48 hours or so. Also others may decide to write their own articles based on ours so we should see some nice activity in the next couple of days.

Really?  That's pretty awesome!  I take it that's around the world as well, no?  So cool!  Great job, you guys!

Yeah in reality is mostly US,  there is a lot of local publications, and regional news channels.  The important thing is we are creating awareness. For example:

Miami Herald

http://markets.financialcontent.com/mi.miamiherald/news/read/28341933/Darkcoin_Solves_Bitcoin_Privacy_Challenges

NBC right now

http://www.nbcrightnow.com/story/26660350/darkcoin-solves-bitcoin-privacy-challenges-releases-open-source-code

There is a bunch, I will prepare a full report after 48 hours or so, as it only went out this morning.

WOW!  I'm doing a jig with my butt on the chair (too lazy to stand up, ROFLMAO)  Hee hee hee, I'm so old fashioned with my LOL's, eh?

I will publish a full list and I think we should go comment on these articles to show them they actually attracted readers, so they include us in future releases.

We should enforce since we peaked at 68% compliance. We currently have over 90% on the protocol side. Two more weeks to wait for no improvements doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Evan said enforcement could come at any time, so to be ready.  I'm sure he wanted to give everyone at least a week to update, just as a courtesy.  I don't think he intends to wait 2 more weeks, but he will choose the right time, and we may or may not get a warning?  The two weeks are at the outside max for enforcement (from yesterday)  So, I guess what I'm saying is that Evan knows we want it, but he's the one weighing the risk/reward factor, and he will make the decision.  I'm sure he is watching the charts.

In the mean time, I haven't seen much talk (though I missed an awful lot of pages) on how he's coming up with ways to hide our IP address from the network!  That's so awesome, I think it will make a huge significance toward protecting masternodes from ddos attacks, etc...  I'm also wondering what else he has up his sleeves?

I still think a tor like service is a great idea plus:

Well, we have multisig by thelonecrouton
and I think, maybe the hiding of IP addresses will have something to do with p2p private messaging??
also, I want to see a marketplace, such as openmarket, hosted by masternodes (self enforced legality/morality via community flagging of unwanted products)  We'd need the latter to keep masternode owners from getting into trouble, sorry, it'd have to be on the up and up.

So what else could Evan be thinking up?

I miss all the links where you can buy Darkcoin at the end of the article,we want people to buy Darkcoin Huh

Honestly, if they don't know where to buy them, they shouldn't buy them until they do some research Cheesy  Those big investors that have been waiting for this, I suspect, are currently reviewing code (or having it reviewed) and getting ready to buy.  That is, if there are any real heavy investors that weren't investing until code was released.  You never know if rumors are real.

I want the rc 5 to kick in to it would be great now when we have some attention:)

Huh?

I'm not sure, but I think he wants enforcement to kick in.

Well, it looks like we got good press coverage.  To bad it's such a hard time for cryptos right now.  Of course the alt scene created this mire of bad feelings with all it's scams.  I don't discount the responsibility of ignorant people who threw their money into the mouths of the sharks, though.  Even my intelligent husband kept wanting me to try making money on pump and dumps, but it rubbed me the wrong way, and I'm sure I would have lost money.  I actually invested every cent I could collect into DRK (about $600 'cause we're broke, LOL), and though it'll be a long time before we'll see any profits, I'm sure we will see them.  Even if we never do, I am so proud to have been a part of this revolution of Evan's, it doesn't matter if my dreams don't come true.  In my opinion, it was a good investment of my time and meager money.  If nothing else, I know we moved the world at least an inch in the right direction!

Again, congrats on the press coverage.  I hope mainstream will mention us more in the near future.  Glad NBC noticed us the other day, even if it was to "warn" of our "darkness", LOL.  Dumbasses........oops, I didn't say that!

17. Restricted Activities

Ridiculous list.

Just a matter of time until they add "cryptocurrency exchanges" and "mixers" to the list, and demand that the BTC stays BTC to enable easy tracking.
Yep, that's the next step. TPTB are trying to make 'good' Bitcoins and 'bad' Bitcoins, but it simply won't work. Fungibility is a necessary trait of any currency. Fortunately all Darkcoins are inherently fungible. Smiley
