if anyone is having problems updating bash with apt-get update / apt-get install bash, your sources.list might be missing an entry
i think all you need is:
deb http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-updates main restricted
change nl to a repository near you. and "precise" with your version (copy those from another line)
the sources.list is probably in the /etc/apt directory

You are so f'in awesome!!!! I checked my repos and they were directed to saucy instead of trusty! I have no idea why, but I changed them all to trusty and was finally able to update!!! Thanks so much!

Why not? Litecoin and dogecoin are the same shit just in the different hand. The only advantage they offer over bitcoin is faster confirmation time! While this is infact only useful if you pay by internet. Last month I was in Berlin and went to Room 77( very cool place), when I paid with bitcoin all transacaction was instantaneous. So that quicker transaction time in real life offers little benefit. While Darkcoin not only contains faster (soon instant) transaction time, protection from asics and 51% attack, but also annonimity. There is no reason for it not to become number 2 coin by Exmass... Its just the fact, that some butthurt people keep shouting "INSTAMINE SCAM!"...

Yeah, we should create advertizements with slogans like what you just said in combination with darkcoin logo etc, and share them on libertarian an anarchist sites/forums. I know a few. :-)

I get only 4,1 MH/s for my 280x and 4,6 MH/s for 290 and other ppl has 50% more = 50% more payout. Could someone point me which kernels should I use to mine with that speed ? It cant be so unfair

On the 290x and 290, you can reduce power consumption by 35% and only lose 5% performance, otherwise the power bill is $$$ on those cards.
I only get ~3MH/s with this setting on my Sapphire 280Xs (3 of them). I was getting the same off sph_sgminer_x11mod. I see nothing different in terms of hashing power.
Just use -I 17, -g2, --thread-concurrency 8192. Drop xintensity.
You should be getting close to 4.0 Mh/s. If you don't care about your power bill just run default clocks or even overclock a little.
