Not here please. Cryptonotes are pointless once drk works. And it works. Remember Btc api compatibility?

That may be, but it's still an interesting project with a humble following that deserves attention.

The DRK thread is a good place to draw such attention because it is read by a lot of people who are interested in privacy blockchain technologies.

Once we go open source, any updates, keep closed source for a week or two. That will screw the clones  Grin

This implies reason for closed source is not to protect people but to preserve drk value. But if drk is not open sourced, real adoption will be mega slow. Not many markets (maybe none) will want to use a closed source anon solution. Can't see why rc4 shouldn't be opened up tbh. It's working fine with very tiny bugs.

I'm all for open source in crypto.

When DRK hits $1bn, I'm launching LiteDRK - just a few tweaks and off we go.

There is a very small window to gain real adoption between now and when dark wallet is released at year end. I suggest the opportunity should not be missed.

Bugger me, I bought about a gazillion for £10 weeks ago and had forgotten all about them.  Shocked

First ever cryptonote GUI wallet  Wink

Remote or local connections, supports sliding scale anonymity level. I was waiting forever for Monero to deliver and now DUCK has got it.

b.t.w. up another 20% since my last post Smiley

DRK's favourite hedge - Ducknote  - behaving perfectly.

DRK down 28%, Ducknote up 300%.

Plunge protection...
Investment perfection  Wink

compile with ERROR.

make[2]: *** [minerd-hash.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes'
make: *** [all] Error 2

 Huh

NEW VERSION CPU MINER, ABOUT 10% IMPROVEMENT*

https://github.com/elmad/darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes

I improved the cpu miner for another 10% and updated the project on github. I tried different processors and I've seen an improvement from 8% to 11%.
Remember, this version works only for processor that support the AES-NI instruction set.

Here the list of Intel processors supporting it:
http://ark.intel.com/search/advanced/?AESTech=true

And for AMD, the series:
Bulldozer-based, Piledriver-based and Jaguar-based.

Let me know what is your improvement with your cpu. Binaries for Windows version will come (some tip can accellerate the process Tongue)

*Donations are very appreciated Cheesy

I have the same error when trying to compile, has anyone resolved this problem?

try these instructions
