This thread moves fast. figured id repost so people get a chance to see. This does include kernels that fix 14.6 driver issues with x11/x13 and I have been getting reports of 280x getting boosts also!

How mutch does an average masternode make and for what period of time? I can't seem to find any link?
Highly depends on the numbers of nodes up.
Masternodes get 20% of mining rewards, so the formula is
nºblocks per day = (60/2.5) * 24 = 576 blocks per day, on average
576 * 5 = 2880 DRKs mined per day
2880 * 0.2 = 576 DRKs (same as block number, as reward is 4 for miners, 1 for masternodes)
Right now we have 507 active nodes, so
576 / 507 = 1,136 DRKs, per node, per day, on average!! ... but this is with enforcement on, which its not. So count on less for now.
Here are my stats - would have been 21 payouts had all the pools updated to latest client!!

Are there any plans to make THIS working?
At the moment if you try to start the masternode with this config the program simple crashes..in an very ugly crash.
Be able to specify the Port for a Masternode would help me 2 ways:
1) Doing a Cold Storage with the Remote setup with only 1 IP
2) Running a second Masternode on the same static IP (I can't put my hands on a second static one that easily, dont want to do the rent thing and RC4 with possible multiple tickets isn't sure to come and certainly 1 month away)
I know that the masternode is coded to listen on port 9999 only but thats no problem with a port routing. The onyl thing required is that the network can send to that port that you can specify.
By way I had to do a lot reconfiguration lately with my DarkCoins (new wallets setup block chains reload, coins relocated etc) I have to say I have never experienced that it works that fast and well with any other coin so far.
That's really a very positive point of Dark! It makes the coin very usable.

I was happy to pick up some sub .01 DRK's yesterday. I'm already in profit. I'll sell it for a quick buck then do it all over again.

Regarding the guy who dumped his dark: Maybe he was at 10 times profit already. He got his house paid and some financial security for his kids. This is what lots of people only dream about. Not everyone is a greedy fuck putting it all at stake for the mere possibility of making another 1000%.

I understand your point. It was smart to invest in dark when it is assumed he did. I wouldn't call what he did stupid, just impulsive. I'm happy for him and not mad he sold. I think calling him stupid is unwarranted as maybe he just wanted out because he needed the money stat or got spooked. Maybe he didn't have the patience to try to get a premium on his dark by throwing out blocks? Whatever, win-win. He gets paid and people( not me 
) got cheap dark.He's stupid for selling at the bottom instead of waiting a month for RC4 to come out. But hey, like I said on reddit, I'm happy for the cheap drks he sold me. Win win for me =)

I'd say the guy that dumped a ton of coins made a good call - I don't see DRK hitting an ATH anytime soon (probably never again). The only mistake I would say was selling too late, certainly not too early.

You are wrong, they just mine what's most profitable at the moment. I hold both BC and DC as many others and I think both coins target different markets anyway.
