Blackcoinpool claims to have updated on twitter, but they still aren't paying masternodes. Instead they obfuscated their list of mined blocks...

greedy fucks -_-

Recent blocks are obfuscated by default. Nothing new.

Wow, that's really sleezy

I'm surprised some of these non-compliant pools have not been outed yet. What about getting their IP addresses?

Evan, the main Dev, does not want to be a "dictator" and force (ban) them. That is as simple as flipping the "spork" button on. We're giving them a chance of being part of Darkcoin in spirit, rather that in "shit-coin-get-rich-quick" enforcement.

4 - run "darkcoind masternode genkey"
5 - copy that hash
6 - edit darckoin.conf and change "masternodeprivkey=" to the new genkey"
7 - edit externalip=xx.xx.xx.xx (you current external server IP)
8 - save
9 - run "darkcoind"
10 - run "darckoind walletpassphrase YOURPASS 60"
11 - run "darckoind masternode debug" - should say "No problems found" - if not, you have some other problem"
12 - run "darckoind masternode start"

I did all of this step by step.

masternode debug said no problems found

after masternode start

I get this annoying message again "inbound port is not open. please open it and try again.

LOOOL... on the contrary!! One of my nodes got 0 votes in five days. Regenerated genkey and almost instantly got 1 vote from a non-payong p2pool. But it was my fault. It was a tesntet node that did not regenerate external IP, so it may have been banned as being a "suspicious" actor. All good now!  Grin

Hasn't one of your nodes got about 10 payments so far?  I'm sure I saw it a few pages back...

My DRK pool is xHash, so I will contact them to ensure they are making MN payments, then let you know to add them to your list.

It is not a large pool but it has very loyal miners, the same characters have been mining DRK for the last few months...

Almost... 7 payouts.

But is should have been 17 if payment enforcement were to be on. And people still have the nerve to criticise DRK's readmap  Grin  Tongue

Why so few people here support p2pool and concentrate hash in centralized mining pool ?
with p2pool you mine to YOUR wallet directly, have hundreds of fail over nodes, and from my experience you get more coins.

and do something for spreading / decentralizing hash.

why so negative attitude towards p2pool ?

My bad. I'm not into mining, so I don't know a thing about pool frontends  Roll Eyes

Ok then. got on config and change

listen=0

Not ideal, but should work. Test.

If not; check your router and open and port forward port 9999 and revert back to listen=1, and test.

listen=0 isnt ideal, but if wallet is closed shouldnt be much of an attack vector. Be sure to give hard rpcuser=NAME and rpcpassword=SUPERSTUPIDLONGHARDPASSWORD

How have you gotten so many payments on your node you lucky bastard!!!

I'm sure due to all your good work for the community Evan has hardcoded: If MN = GhostPlayer then Priority = +1...

I know I know, you can't identify MN's like that, just saying...

You lucky bastard!  Grin

Could someone tell me where to get info on how to setup a masternode?
