DarkCoin isn't so superior and innovative like alot of people think it is.
DarkCoin isn't so superior and innovative like alot of people think it is.That may be true regarding the technology. All the "anonymity" coins are based on crypto graphical research that goes back 30 or so years.
However, Darkcoin IS superior as an investment. It combines the technology with a whole lot of other properties - market penetration, transparent dev team, solid development roadmap that has more or less consistently delivered results up till now and where it hasn't has showed a resolve to address the associated issues etc etc.
Differences in technology are of academic interest but they don't shift markets unless they are fundamental enough to 'break' some feature.

Just notice that my celebration of 2000 page post got deleted by the moderator with nonsense excuse. can't believe bitcointalk.org still have this kind of poor guy as moderator. shame on it.
edit: i can't help thinking of that : are you got paid for deleting?
I have also had many of my posts here deleted... don't know why... maybe my ideas are not as good as I thought they would be... maybe my participation is not as important as I wish it would be... in the end, I decided to post as little as possible, but I am always watching and reading you guys
Anyway, what matters is that I have 70% of my cryptocurrencies investment all in DRK, and I am very proud of it

A little diversification is always nice. I got a tiny by of XMR as well to stay diversified but I think your better off in VRZ or DRK at this time. Personally I would go into VRZ for a trade and then in a week or so take those profits off the table and grab more DRK pre-fix
What's "VRZ" when it's at home ?
Another crypto focused on development and advancing the total market rather than copy / cloning others. Why I like DRK, VRZ, and XMR so much, all are anon plays with there own positives. VRZ and DRK are very similar in quality of devs ect. VRZ went up 50x in 48hr in its last run. With all this positive news flowing this week and next, its going to be a pump I can feel it.
Good chance to play that one for a trade and make money to buy more DRK, XMR and VRZ
These aren't pumpy dump convo's for me, I own all 3 of those .xyz's

Hey fellow DRK'ers, Incase some of you haven't seen the roadmap put out by VRZ team this week you might want to take a look at it. Now is pretty close to its low end of the trading range for past few weeks and more is happening than ever.

I was away since the fork, had a wedding out of town, and made myself promis I would not check on the DRK price so I could have a good time.
I am both shocked and amazed, though absolutely not surprised at all, the price did not drop below 0.015. The only thing that bothers me about this is I will not be able to buy cheaper on Tuesday/Wednesday when my funds clear
The Darkcoin community has shown to be mature, intelligent, cooperative, willing, dynamic and above all, resilient.
I've never encountered such strong support in all my internet years. Like sailors going through a shit-storm, no one jumped ship, no mutiny, on the contrary - even if waters are dark (lol), unchartered territories, and few icebergs here and there - the tougher it got, the stronger we held together! WOW !!
This says A LOT about the future of this coin.

Thanks for the tip. I added that in (I assume you mean applications/Darkcoin QT/Package/Contents/Resources/qt.conf ) and the debug window shows 9 connections but still no update past block 88828.
EDIT: I just realised your on a dot version greater than mine 0.9.10.2. My version reports 0.0.10.0 and I just downloaded it. How can that be ?

OK. It's working now.
I downloaded from dark coin.io which still had the old client - 0.0.10.0. But if I download from here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4585071
...I get the new client and it's now syncing.
