AlexGR I think you are one of our best contributors and posters, but I have to be honest and say that it was highly irresponsible of you to post that out of context when things were still being figured out and you know that people are nervous.  I just needed to be honest about my thoughts.

Yup that quote totally fucked tons of weak hands.

Yup that was some weak shit, even the guys on IRC weren't sure yet.

Fuck'm.

Uf they want to dump their coins at the hint of a hiccup on a pioneering project like this then they deserve all they get.

Let Alex post whatever he likes.

This isn't a market pampering salon.

Agree. Thank you Alexgr for posting. We need all info and make our own decisions.

It seems the network is lagging. There's no forking going on, nodes catch up to the proper block height eventually!

Looks fine to me. I think some clients on wrong chain due to versioning?
Wrong client == wrong chain.

This was the whole point of telling people this shit for a fucking month!

It'll prune out eventually, but there si a LOT of bad clients on the realnet. It's going to be slower to weed them out. Chain will be messy for a while. This is expected.
27% of network on obsolete version: http://drk.poolhash.org/subver.html
Precisely. When testnet was trying to break 10.10.1, they just did one thing at a time with a healthy network. Realnet is getting hammered with several orders of magnitude more, and everything that can possibly be. The orphans will actually become short chains before they are pruned. This is NORMAL and WORKING LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO. It just has a longer delay to sort out than was seen on testnet, which ends up with orphan blocks become short orphan chains...

At least that's how I'm seeing it. Need at least a few hundred deep to say for sure.

Network looks solid to me...

All good from what I can see... If you updated your wallet but are unlucky and got onto the wrong fork, simply resync your wallet and all should be good.

Looks fine to me. I think some clients on wrong chain due to versioning?
Wrong client == wrong chain.

This was the whole point of telling people this shit for a fucking month!
If what I'm reading is right, then the issue is solvable by .1 version instead of .0...

I think .0 and .1 were supposed to be interoperable, but aren't? Or something to that effect. So everybody get .1 to be sure.
This seems to be the case. Still too early to call it.

This stuff is actually exactly what we want - right of passage.

Bitcoin had it with forks, mud and Gox. Any coin that wants to be a permanent part of the landscape has to have it.

Go forward !!! Bulldoze !!!   Cheesy
