[20:16] @evan82 let it level out, network is catching up
[20:16] no forks for me. on multiple network items. MPOS, p2pool, MN's windows.

But why? Everything I have looked at looks fine. Can someone show where the issue is?
I don't know, my guess is he just rolled back github as a precaution.

Evan82 just said he's reverting masternode payments (in IRC)

No, he suggested it as a precaution.
The network is healthy !!
Only fork are obsolete clients! Absolutely no side-forks at all !!

Evan was being responsibly cautious! But across the board, block hashes are correct.

just like putting on new shoes, it takes a little time to get comfy. Network was lagging a little and re-adjusting to new conditions.

All is good.

[20:16] all my forks disappeared and I DID NOT reindex
[20:16] they did that by themselves
Exactly what I said.

...wait for it... The pruning will work just like it did on testnet, it's just slower when being bombarded by a shit-ton of bad actor nodes instead of just a few with known bad actor capacity on testnet... Orphan blocks become short orphan chains, but get pruned and auto-re-indexed. It will lag... Maybe as long as 2 hours. Longer than that, check your version...

Well, according to github, Evan did indeed roll back.

Dang, oh well, that just means more cheap drk for me.

Let Alex post whatever he likes.

This isn't a market pampering salon.

I think the criticism is fair... but I'll say this to my defense, if it's any defense anyway:

On one hand I was seeing people selling due to Evan saying he'll patch it and on the other hand I was seeing people celebrating. Given the communication issues that everybody was complaining about, I thought it was only fair for everyone to be on the same page regarding market movements etc.

I'm anti-elitist by nature and I hate "priviledged information" where one can move ahead of the others because he has info that others do not. The intention was fairness really but I can see how it can be seen otherwise.

Anyway, latest update:

[20:10] @evan82 are you sure we are forking? Seems like MNs are catching up after a while

Yup that quote totally fucked tons of weak hands.

Fuck'm.

If they want to dump their coins at the hint of a hiccup on a pioneering project like this then they deserve all they get.

Let Alex post whatever he likes.

This isn't a market pampering salon.

Yea, I was thinking he caused the drama. But you are right, those people ready to dump, if some coughs. So they deserved it.

They lost at least 10-15% now they have to buy higher. Too bad, I had no spare BTC to buy more. I would love to get more at 17satoshi.

AlexGR I think you are one of our best contributors and posters, but I have to be honest and say that it was highly irresponsible of you to post that out of context when things were still being figured out and you know that people are nervous.  I just needed to be honest about my thoughts.

Holy fuck he almost caused me a heart attack lol...

Agreed. I need a drink right now. Or a pill.

I was also in disbelief and kind of panic mode... but too much disbelief to sell anything.

If 10.10.0 is forking up, this would be a good time to log.

Mining Pool Hub
Please, it was not an update problem. I'm not a lazy pool operator.
I updated before and even tested on testnet. You can find my posts on darkcointalk for testing compatibility with NOMP. Chaeplin replied and I replied that it works well too. You can find my comments even on github.

You know what happened at previous release. I was monitoring if fork happens again.
Yes, this is my most concern about this update.

Orphan blocks are determined quite quickly at normal case, but it didn't appear that quick as previous.
I think it jumped block chain but auto synced a bit later which is added from this release.

I have seen many other coin blocks determined as orphan since I'm running many coin pools, and it didn't take long time like this.

I was suspicious about the phenomenon and I asked about it with this.
"fork occurred?"

Did I act like a troll or told everybody to dump? No. Sorry that it seemed like that.

It was just a mistake and I was so sensitive about it. I even opened new tab to write PM to evan.

Sorry about my mistake again.
Thanks miningpoolhub, appreciate your input.

Unlike others here that only want to hear positive news, I want to hear the real news.

Thanks for saying like this but I don't know the real news too. Only dev will tell us.

It seems working well checking at my side.
