Setup masternodes for profit!

Is this coin about anonymity or profit?  Sounds like masternode network is about profit.  Look what greed caused.

masternode network is wrong direction to take for future anonymous coin.

Wrong. Creating an incentive for a decentralized network to host coin mixing is the only direction to take. Everything else relies on trust of individuals or vulnerable central servers.

Maybe we should all abandon Bitcoin and every other coin if decentralized solutions are the 'wrong direction'.

How is decentralized when only a few run the masternodes?  Some people on here talking about setting up their fifth masternode.  Most people don't have the money to support a masternode so masternodes stay in control of the wealthy.  Just like current banking system.  Then most are hosted on same VPS provider.

These are my thoughts.  I'm not here to spam thread.  I hold DRK myself but fortunately I sold most during the recent highs.  I bought DRK a long time ago hoping it would succeed.  I have never liked the masternode network idea and never will.

I do hope that this coin recovers so that many people that invested will not lose.

Masternodes serve more than 1 function.

An Incentive to uphold the darkcoin network is another function. With Bitcoin, you dont get paid to help maintai the network through running a node, with darkcoin you do.

And

an anonymizer

Evan also said he will be implementing Ring Sigs and I2P, making Darkcoin the ultimate anonymous coin..

Strong buying which is interesting to me.  I suspect it won't last but I've been wrong before.

I'm still holding my main stash, but I'm not buying at this point until we have a better understanding of how this may change the fundamentals of the coin.  Obviously the masternodes are a potential network weakness and I want to know how that is going to be remedied before I'm a buyer again.

The most disappointing thing is that it was an attack, not just a hard fork problems because of the versions not up to date.

Proof?

I actually find that the most promising thing. If a group of people put so much effort and finance into (delaying) darkcoins rise it must be because they're genuinly scared of drk taking away marketcap from their coins which in the end means Evan is on the right track. "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win".

I'm just afraid it's not a group of rich people or the NSA guys everyone was talking about, but some IT student. I'm not a troll, just slightly sad  Sad

If they're just IT students they would either be very rich students who have the money available to buy thousands of darkcoins, or just plain stupid students who bought in early on, sat up masternode and suddenly decided to start messing with the system instaed of cashing in. I just find it a little too "coincedently" that the fake twitter announcment with the hidden premined collided with the forkissues and the build up tension around the 25may milestone.

why is everyone on a Gandhi circle jerk?

The following excerpts from articles in The Wall Street Journal and The Independent, published in 2011 and 2010 respectively, detail Gandhi’s bizarre experiments with sex. The key point they contain is, for years, Gandhi sexually abused his 17-year-old grandniece Abha and his 18-year-old grandniece Manu. He forced them to sleep with him — simultaneously and naked — nightly. The story is a tragic one of psychological and physical molestation perpetrated against vulnerable young girls with not option for escape.
Additionally, for years prior while living in an ashram, he forbade his followers to sleep with their wives but required the wives to sleep with him — again, naked.

Roberts, Andrew. “Book Review: Great Soul.” The Wall Street Journal, March 26, 2011.

The benefits of having power: fucking other people's wives.
As if women had no will of their own? Or maybe they liked it that way?
