DASH is the future of crypto payments!
Hi everyone.  I believe my account has been hacked.  I can't find any way to report this or get help from Bitcointalk.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd sure appreciate it.

Boy this is like having someone break into my home and robbing me.  I can't think of anything else they can get from my account except private messages??  My password was weak, and I kept putting off changing it because I'm lazy.

Anyway, ignore anything I say as TanteStefana please, in case they want to ruin my name (such as it is??)

If you use an exchange or something linked to your coins and use the same email address as bitcointalk, you might want to think about the security implications.

Indeed...enable 2FA security like google authenticator at mintpal your EC2 and wherever else...even you wallet pass just in case...

Ed4252's dumbass question...

Devs don't have 10% or anything close, they sold most of their coins when Darkcoin was priced at 2 cents each.... as did most people at that time. Check the blockchain history..... It's pretty darn well distributed now if I may say so myself.
Seriously?! What's their addresses? I'll gladly donate many DRK's.

Edit: I'm actually more worried about this mystery-entity (which bought even more today) selling and crashing the coin more than anything else (http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?188207.htm)

Basically 1 guy has kept acquiring DRK since it was $0.70, totalling over 300k coins, and hasn't sold one yet.  I'm not worried about that guy selling any time soon.  And if he does sell, it will be for a reason, so the coin would have been fucked anyway.

I love it.  Hasn't sold a single one.  Shit takes balls.  Like titanium ones.

This guy is not cashing out any soon, you don't invest over 3k BTC to cash out at 4k BTC, not worth the risk, to me the total amount of coins decreased in 490k, 190k are because the MNs and 280k because of this guy.

It's either that's an exchange acquiring those darkcoins, or a guy who knows that darkcoin would eventually reach $300, $400, even $500 in price. He's in there for the long haul.

With the devs having 10%, aren't you guys worried they can crash this coin when it gets to a high price?  who would want to invest in that?
Do you have your children??? Would you hurt them??? Now you know the answer. Btw. They don't have 10%, I do Wink

Even if they have 10%... I don't care.

That's a recurring fallacy, to somehow paint the rich first adopters as evil or deceitful.

Just think for a minute.... if we WOULDN'T have the devs owning 10%, evan wouldn't be able to quit his dayjob and fully concentrate on darkcoin.
true true. They do the whole work and the plan is to retire by january 2016 Wink

An article now about maxcoin and smurfcoin man coindesk is failing hardcore right now lmfao

Coindesk isn't even a big deal....I have never went on their site to be honest. I'm also sure they get paid to write articles about certain coins. Fake news website.

Exactly. I've never visited Coindesk for news or information or whatever the hell it is they do. Move on, kiddos.

Ahhh ! It's Ed4252. Straight from the "WIll Darkcoin reach $1000 by the end of 2014?" thread.

You're a hard worker.

Make sure you get a good night's sleep - long day of FUD spreading tomorrow awaits.

If they really sold their coins at that price thats pretty dumb they should have more belief in the product  Grin

That was back in January/February. Just like bitcoin, they didn't know how far darkcoin would/can go and are working everyday on developing dark to it's true potential.
