There have been a few dodgy decisions coming out from Charlie Lee (Litecoin founder) recently, but I think this current view and decision has some merit. Mainly because its an issue that has been bugging me for about 8 months now.

The move by BitPay to re-denominate bitcoin is a good move. Ordinary people can't work with decimal points too easily when buying things.

The Litecoin price is only ~$10, so we don't currently have this problem. But we expect to have this problem in the future. So it's much easier for us to switch over now. By the time this is a real problem, we will be facing the same trouble that Bitcoin is facing trying to switch. So I propose that we bite the bullet and make the switch today. And at the same time, introduce the ISO code XLT.

I think this is something that Darkcoin should think about. It may not help that the next few weeks are about release candidates and code checking, but it is an issue worth putting on the table for discussion sooner rather than latter. The Darksend denomination questions that have come up may be the factor for doing this longer-term anyway.

Do people understand that PBOC has never made any official announcement saying that they ban Bitcoin? The mining manufacturers make too much money for the government to ban bitcoin.

they want to keep exports up and overseas people spending on hardware and services, but prevent domestic trading on exchanges and domestic purchases.

they can't have a precedent that sets out double standards, even in China.

Well, last weeks of school and 2 graduations coming up, 1 college and the other High school. Plus I'm trying to do something for my husband's work.
