iCEBREAKER, you have correctly noted that the masternodes existed before the rebrand however the voting and budget system didn't. Maybe you forgot but in the start masternodes first use was for dark (now private) send only and not with any voting features at the time. Similarly there was no instant send at the time masternodes were first released.

Dash's "Spam Filter" Encourages Professional Community Projects - Dash Force News

Most cryptocurrencies give funding to miners who bring the coin supply into existence, leaving the rest of the community to toil away supporting their passion for free. Dash’s funding model splits the new coins created 45%-45%-10% to miners, masternodes who help run the network, and a treasury to fund community projects, respectively. Yes, the treasury does make it easier to get projects going that otherwise would not even get started. However, it has another, less obvious benefit: it focuses community initiatives to make everyone’s work as efficient as possible.

Dash is always a fun backup coin, it always has some value and it can be mined up in less than a couple hours to a level that will make a little money.  It is like the change in the sofa thing.  When you realize you want some fast food, but don't want to go to the bank, mine up some Dash and trade it out, always good for a $50 bill.

$50? We must work harder to turn that into a C-note for you...

Emin Gün Sirer on the Rise of Cryptohooliganism - Dash Force News

While highly technical and revolutionary, the cryptocurrency field has nonetheless seen its fair share of social conflict. The most prevalent example thereof is the fight over Bitcoin’s scaling debate, which has led to pervasive online trolling, hostility, and tribalistic division. This conflict has led to a developmental impasse, and as a result Bitcoin’s average transaction fees have risen past $4.

Dash Force News spoke with Emin Gün Sirer, professor of computer science at Cornell University and co-director of the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Smart Contracts, about the rise of hooliganism in cryptocurrency communities.

DASH is doing just fine.  Currently over 1 billion marketcap.  That's not enough for you??  I also wouldn't be surprised if it hits 2 billion marketcap before the end of the year, if not sooner.   Grin

There are so many projects in the DASH pipeline, that it's just a matter of time before the sleeping giant awakens.

About spreading crypto, the last week:
Sold 2000€ valued Dash at one friend (10%discount)
Sold 6000€ valued Dash at two more people (3000 each one,10%discount)
Finally convinces other friend to buy a masternode. First time I proposed her to buy when the price was at 1/10 of today (lol). You know...more expensive...more secure  Wink
And last but not least, today I sold 1000€ valued bitcoin at my boss!  Grin (50% discount, of course).
Almost forgot, my brother 1000€ in bitcoin (50% discount, of course).

When you speak about it, people want to get involved, good signal.

That's a very good example how crypto gains value! I wish I would have some good amount of DASH to sell to my friends\relatives with discoint  Cheesy

Dash Gets Its Own "Air Force," Sponsors Airshow Team

Dash is now the official sponsor of Dash Aerosports, an aerobatic air racing promotional team.

AircraftWraps owner and Dash investor Scott Farnsworth submitted a proposal to the masternode network to have Dash be the exclusive sponsor of the newly-branded Dash Aerosports. The proposal passed, meaning that aircraft wrapped in Dash decals will be performing at airshows around the world. In honor of the Dash Force, one of the two aircraft employed will be name Dash Force One...

I'm going to concur with what MM said

So you also believe the Darkcoin-to-Dash rebrand happened before Masternodes existed?

Masternode "voting", AKA DGBB. That is what we are talking about.

how can i store my dash coins out of poloniex wallet? is there a tutorial?
Jaxx.io

Jaxx is a nice wallet to store multiple tokens and currencies in but they are experiencing problems right now with Dash. I don't know why but it happens from time to time. Also FYI regarding Jaxx is that it Does not work with VPN or TOR. They are also adding support for new tokens almost weekly so I highly recommend it

Jaxx with VPN works without issues, at least with OpenVPN. Use it all the time.
Can not comment on TOR.

how can i store my dash coins out of poloniex wallet? is there a tutorial?

First you have to have a DASH Wallet address... you can get it from coinomi (Android) or DASH core wallet (PC)

then from poloniex put your wallet address in the withdrawal field.

Technical Analysis - Crypto Roundup - Dash Force News

(Analysis provided by AF Bitcoins)

Measured against USDT (which is a proxy for US$ on the Poloniex exchange), on a 1 day chart we can see the explosive rise of Dash, which particularly in March this year, outperformed almost every other crypto including bitcoin as it spiked above $100 for the first time. Since then Dash has climbed even higher against the US dollar and currently sits not too far below its all time high of approximately $150 at about $130 for 1 Dash.

Dash should have a system for running ICOs which matches user contributions with funds from the block reward for successful crowdsales. Or maybe has a pre-funding round in which masternodes or a group appointed by them selects projects to launch ICOs.

Is there anything like that being planned?

Cheesy you can't be that stupid or maybe you are just paid to be stupid.
In case you don't know (of course you know everything about Dash) we have a treasury, so it's logical to have a guy with experience in finance.
And if that guy is a hedge fund analyst or manager it's even better.

And again ice, it must be tiring for you having two dicks in your mouth. Does gmax and fluffy not give you enough reasons to suck their dicks a little bit harder?
