HOW DASH SOLVES THE “ICO PROBLEM”


ICO fever is in the air. If you don’t believe me, just have a quick glance at Twitter. The Initial Coin Offering, a method of fundraising for a blockchain project through the presale of tokens, is the increasingly popular method for generating obscene amounts of money to build new cryptocurrencies.

As much as ICOs are all the rage now, though, accusations and satire about their certain level of scamminess abound. Yes, for some, some (many?) of these crowdfunds may have started purely with the objective of deceitfully obtaining money from gullible investors new to the cryptoverse. That’s not what I’m here to talk about, though. I’m here to tell you why the best-intentioned ICOs create a sort of productivity problem, and present a better way to fund a development team.

Any changes to Dash will be voted on by the masternodes. The coin supply is fixed and will not be changing. No changes that would damage the coins value would get voted in by the masternodes.

Unlike other coins such as Bitcoin, Dash's block reward of new coins created is split 45%-45%-10%, going to miners, masternode stakeholders, and a treasury, respectively. It's rather telling you all would rather discuss me rather than, given the fact Evan alters emission at will, admit Dash has no reliably/provably fixed supply.

I just want to say to those who are currently pumping this coin to a far more fair price : thank you, we all really appreciate it  

What is this low volume rising activity on dash? Another bulltrap?Another 15% spike up till the next 15% down?
This doesnt seem real bullish trend otherwise the volume should have been higher while the demand/supply should have turnes to positive!

Just to let you know, your beloved Evan is not core dev anymore  . Shocked? He is more like consultant/advisor now. Dash have 18  full-time developers, all paid from the blockchain, so your three years old FUD bus factor 1 is in the bin  . Also there are ~4500 masternodes ready to vote for any changes.

BTW you sound tired. I assume that trying to convince people that 80% anonymous, Pump&Dump, fluffyretardo, cultish, scammy coin-xmr is a cool coin, is very tiring

our pools are getting a backend update - and the first of these are all the x-algos and quark ...

the dash pool is in need of testing with more than just a few hundred megahash ( which we have tested with so far ) ...

two ports for the miners -

1203 and 5203 being lodiff and hidiff respectively ...

for the smaller cpu / gpu miners and small asic - port 1203 is built with a cap of the difficulty so its not 'too' heavy on the miners ...
for the larger gpu miners / farms / large asic / renting ( miningrigrentals / nicehash / etc ) - port 5203 is built with a medium level difficulty which can reach a very high difficulty for the very heavy miners ...

just register - create workers - point your miners and you will be off mining ...

the top left hand corner of the pool shows the brief details ( like coin - algo - cwi-level - lodiff port - hidiff port - and cwi test designation ) - and is also the pull down menu for the other pools we are building ( and have built ) ...

miner parameters are very simple with this brief info ... for example ( using ccminer under linux - making sure you change 'chrysophylax.cwi:x' parameter to your workername and password ) ...


lodiff port - for small miners ...

hidiff port - for medium to high level miners ...


ALL the pools in the cwi-pool system are at a very low 0.7% fee - with all testing welcomed as well as all constructive feedback ...

According to Evan, nothing in Dash is fixed.  He may change the total supply any time he wants to.  It's already happened once.

Is it a good idea to buy now DASH short because DASH Evolution is now around the corner?

DASH fair value should be around the same price as ZEC / ETH which is a double from it's current price.

Unless shorts decide to dump some DASH again like they've done for the past couple of months.  No way these random megadumps come from long DASH holders. 

Add to fact that there are only 6700 DASH available to lend on Polo which is the lowest I've seen in a long time.
