Have to admit this is quite nice. Why do people insist on putting random binary though. Here's binary for darkcoin 01100100 01100001 01110010 01101011 01100011 01101111 01101001 01101110

Its not random, it does spell darkcoin.

weird, maybe I didn't enter it correctly into the decoder.

If we're talking about the one on the prior page, originally posted by Sigi, it spells "Anonymity" not DarkCoin.

Darkcoin = Anonymity

Perhaps he can give us various versions of it including the correct digits? I think it's definitely on the right track. One with a line in the D, one with a keyhole, one with less light on the center, maybe less pale* etc, perhaps a slightly more 3D one with the D being more "sculpted" instead of flat, etc etc. Maybe we can have 2 versions, a totally plain 2D and the kick-ass-3D'er Cool

* I did some GIMPing on it to make it darker / more sharp etc. 3 versions:

Honestly, if you really think Darkcoin has something going, you should probably keep them at least until the blackmarkets start using it.

Before that, there's probably just as good other coins if you just want to make a profit on pump/dumping?

DRK is not hard to sell -> there's not very much sell volume, because no on wants to sell it.

Selling now... not so smart. Price is too low.

Can we create a database like this: https://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

...where hardware name/model, program, version, platform & other notes can be added for the darkcoin platform?

Given the variable block rewards, is there any way to know how many DRK have been mined to date? I'm watching the dumping on the exchanges at anywhere near 0.002 and there's no way it can be mine-to-dump. There are only 13,248 being mined per day at the current diff / reward, yet people are dumping hundreds and thousands at a time. Much of it must be early miners or buyers who have the attention span of a goldfish, and I'm curious how many of them can be left at the current turnover rate.

I think there are less than 350,000 coins up to this  point (it was around 300,000 a week or so ago?)

The darksend is working, eduffield is cautious and wants to make sure nothing unforeseen happens when it's implemented.  Worked great last night.

You are missing a zero there tantestefana. Plus you've been mining them for a while!

Really?  yah, I mined from the beginning, but not knowing what I was doing.  Wish I  had known about amazon ec2 and windows azure in the beginning, because all I had were my two duel core computers, LOL.  So, nope, I'm not one of the rich Sad

But I know you're rich spiritually Tante, and thats what matters.

This coin has been flying under the radar and has been gaining attention based off of it's features alone, not hype. The whales are slowly figuring out this is the coin and are moving over. The price on these coins is extremely cheap still... huge opportunity to make a lot of money.

Very nice. Finally someone who knows what he is doing. Too many 16 year old kids trying to create logos in here.

Love the look. Keep it up!
