Do it but just save copy of wallet.dat if you have any DRK in your wallet.

Check well if you don't have your wallet running or gohst process:
check the small trayicon.
And double check if there is no process darkcoin-qt in your task manager.

trying to mine this with sgminer wolf0 binary on drkpool, getting nowhere with it

SGminer doesn't even have an accepted shares entry in terminal readout, all I get is

Is there a calculator anywhere showing what one could expect from mining? 

Perhaps consider lowering your limits and TX fee?

It's still saying " a 0.1 XCO transaction will apply when processing" and automatic payouts is minimum 100DRK which is a bit high when people without a hash factory in a mountain hall can expect to make maximum 10 DRK, and that on a good day.

UNLESS YOU HAVE DARK COINS IN YOUR WALLET ALREADY, OR INCOMING COIN!!!

Just delete the .darkcoin file and re-download the darkcoin wallet (in case the one you have is corrupted, then start over.

Start the wallet
close thewallet
add the conf file to the .darkcoin directory in AppData
restart the wallet

Both wallet.dat and darkcoin.conf didn't exist. I created the .conf with your settings, restarted the wallet but error occurred

Update your wallet, we are now darkcoin

Even so you could upload USD from Payeer, that's still clunky.  if we could have someone that functions like Coinbase, where you can instantly buy from your checking account, that'd be awesome!  You  have to wait to have access to the funds, but it's great to get 'em while they're low, you know?

edit: back up and running coins safe!

1. type %appdata% in start search bar
2. open ..\Roaming\darkcoin folder
3. check if darkcoin.conf exist and open with notepad
4. if not exist, then create textfile with following values


replacing password for something generic

5. then save file as "darkcoin.conf" in ..\Roaming\darkcoin

your wallet.dat and darkcoincoin.conf should be in C:\Users\*YourUserName*\AppData\Roaming\DarkCoin
