I've been following this coin for a while, I dumped most of all my other coins and jumped into this last week. Needles to say i'm pleased with my decision.
I also got as few of my regular mining peeps to convert/setup their rig to mine this badboy.

Oi mates. I think we should start working towards a DARK/USD exchange. The sooner we detach from btc the better.

I converted to DARK already, and it's going places, but I hold my 3k VERTs I bought quite cheap, because I still believe in vert, lots of great announcements so far. Dev team is really good, up there with DRK one

We should also note that:
1) DRK has no hype associated with shitcoins
2) DRK has no mainstream publicity like dogecoin, kittehcoin (#34) etc
3) DRK has quite a few market exchanges - yet it does great volume in those that have it
4) DRK rise is not based on viral meme propagation
5) DRK rise is not based on wolong pumping schemes (unobtainum #23)
6) DRK rise is not based on free giveaway coins
7) DRK is not basing its promotion and propagation by being on top of profitability lists (although it is quite profitable - and that may be an understatement) that usually include scrypt + sha256
...which makes the above chart all the more impressive, meaning that there are people / investors etc who are taking it very seriously due to its qualities, not because "it's the latest trend".
