Want to get Darkcoin listed on cryptorush.in? They've contacted us and they require a fee for listing of 300DRK.

Please donate to get us listed! XxBh3RnSza7dftvMX2JZmNd6ipaTi7KGKx

Why would we pay them to be on their exchange?
There will be a time they beg us to be on their exchange  Cool

I'm fine with that too, I had the same thought  Grin . Should we just tell them nevermind, you'll do it later for free anyway...

I think it's fine to just leave it out there and let folks donate if they see fit, we don't want to look smug by being dismissive, but I agree that ~300USD is too much to be listed on an exchange. The volume on the existing exchanges should be sign enough that this is going places.

It's 300DRK (which is still close to 100$ though!). What kind of volume do these guys even have? I hope asking for fees in exchange of being listed isn't a standard practice, because that seems in line with zynga/king/ea type of business practice. I wouldn't mind being dark being on there but it does seem greedy, they'll be making money of transactions too.

Let the community decide if they want to pay to be on the exchange

I disagree with it personally

But if the donations reach the necessary amount, then that will naturally make the decision

+1 on that, although it will help to get the word out.

The community seems vastly against paying for this, so I'm going to decline their offer. Thanks!

I guess resistance on the way up would be even stronger.

Got another wall there. Wondering if it will bounce.

Strong buy support above .0006. With the difficulty growth and other good news and growing interest I could see .0008 easily happening by the end of today.

Dark has broken the 60 sell dam on poloniex. It's smooth sailing to 70 hopefully.

Did you read my whole sentence when I wrote "on poloniex" or did you stop halfway?

Does this transaction malleability issue anyways affect the darkcoin transactions in the future?

I would say "transaction malleability" is more an issue of how 3rd parties implement the transactions than a coin/wallet problem

There were bugs in bitcoins reference implementation that the devs are fixing. I'll pull the changes in when they're done.

Is it possible to mine with nvidia?

Sort of

I"m using a dual GTX 690 setup (4 GPUS) and I'm only getting about 380khs/s per GPU using sgminer.  <-- Yes, but it was designed as a gaming rig, not a mining rig!

I'm using I=19 because the cards get unstable above that. I haven't messed with thread concurrency or anything becaue frankly it sucks for CUDA cores. Maybe someone will take the cudaminer code https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner and try teaking it to work with X11...

please?!

Would you post your settings please?

This is my .bat file. I'm running this under windows 7 ultimate. I haven't tried booting to Linux to see if it works. I'm running WHQL 332.21 drivers.

sgminer --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://xco.cpu-pool.net:3500 -u x -p x -I 19

I would say "transaction malleability" is more an issue of how 3rd parties implement the transactions than a coin/wallet problem

And I"m guessing that because of the nature of DarkSend, the opportunity for 3rd parties to have any influence in a transaction would be greatly reduced?

It occurs to me that if/when DarkSend gets finished and is being used, DarkCoin might become a go-to currency if the "malleability" issue with bitcoin isn't resolved.
