Hey guys.   I've been away. What's going on?  Do I need to update my windows wallet?  Will anything happen to my coins?  Please let me know whats up. Thank you!
Yes, update your windows wallet.  You're not going to lose your coins but always do a backup of the wallet.dat file just to be safe.

quick question.
I have prescious little mining experience, but what little proper mining I did was done during the 24 hrs or so before the whale appeared. I was on http://pool.darkcoin.io averaging around 2300 - 2500kh/s, but fluctuating from anything just under 1000 to 3500. I presume that fluctuation thats reported is purely down to the time the hashes are accepted and the rate at which the data is measured (every 15 secs?)

Anyway, what I have noticed is that during the good times (a day or so) and even when we went to 90 difficulty, whatever the pool thought I was due based on my hash (at the time, which I understand changes constantly) I only seemed to be getting roughly half of what I should be???

Am I missing something obvious here?

the pool measures your hashing rate by number of shares you send in, that can differ from time to time...

ok, but wouldn't 24 hrs be enough time for everything to average out?
As soon as things kick off tonight I will keep an even closer eye on things.

Panic selling: Time to buy cheap!

Maybe just someone doing a big dump?
No just 5000 DRK selling ahead of the big drop in electricity costs that happens 20 blocks
We could see .0001 briefly as people panic, especially on a day where some lucky guys got BTC for $102!

Trading FLOOR is set by electricity costs.

Is DRK listed on http://coinmarketcap.com/ and I am not seeing it - or are we not listed there yet?
Not yet because neither exchange had volume API.  I talked to both exchanges about it.  Poloniex is working on it and c-cex already implemented it.  I submitted the new information to coinmarketcap.com so hopefully we'll be added in a day or two.

Mate. This train has not even begun to board yet. We have 4x-ed in value in 3 days, are only on 2 exchanges and are yet to implement the anonimity module while still being comparatively better than half of the alt coins out today. Give this a couple of more days and you'll be surprised where we are,

I had made up my mind to not spend any more money on cryptos, but with a tremendous coin like this - even without the anonymous implementation, I felt compelled to buy myself some more!  Grin
