This coin is very undervalued and the volume is very low  Huh
Well, DCR is underestimated.
The price will be over 1 BTC and will exceed ETH and XEM.

Relax, whales are accumulating. They sure spotted that there is only 100k DCR on the sell book atm. There is not so much DCR in circulation, thanks to the stake mining! I predict DCR will go to 0,1 BTC at LN activation.

What path does Paymetheus store the blockchain at on Windows?

user\appdata\local\dcrd\data\mainnet

Shit...the contents of that folder is quite different than from
Code:
\AppData\Local\Dcrd\data\mainnet

Paymetheus is taking forever to sync. Is there somewhere I can download the blockchain and then paste it over to Paymetheus path?

try to close the wallet, delete data folder and restart.

This will download a new blockchain and synchronize.
If you realize that it's stucked, just restart

Fixed and already up to date. Thanks!

Hi,

Just wanted to mention I've added a new fee structure to www.zpool.ca, FlexFee™, and have enabled it on decred. This will lower pool fees the more hashrate there is. Currently the thresholds for fees is:

0 - 500Gh = 2.25%
500GH - 1.5Th = 2%
1.5Th - 3Th = 1.75%
3Th+ = 1.5%

Cheers!

Hello everyone,

Today the project would like to announce the launch of dcrtime and the introduction of blockchain-based timestamps to Decred. This is phase 1 of 2 in Decred's rollout of a censorship-resistant proposal system.

For a detailed write-up of dcrtime, please refer to the announcement blog entry. You can find the first dcrtime tx on the DCR mainnet here: https://mainnet.decred.org/tx/9af946f599e09d68b4590ced2e046c3f883411e1f06e199c073efa621af18d93

If you're interested in blockchain-based timestamps like dcrtime, also check out OpenTimestamps. Props to Peter Todd for his great work! Please also join the discussion on a dedicated forum thread if you want to leave persistent remarks or questions about dcrtime.

Sincerely,
Decred Project

Shocked This is very, very amazing!

Now the Decred blockchain can be used to register documents, properties, certificates, inventions, everything!

With each passing day I love this project more and more <3

Grim, there can be 3 to 5 votes per block. Blockchain size is 1,7 GB. There is nothing wrong with if you have some of the seed words the same.

Can someone explain the block rewards (subisidy) please?

https://dcrstats.com/subsidy

eg. currently:

Block subsidy: 24.81
DCR   PoW: 14.89
DCR   PoS vote: 1.49
DCR   Dev subsidy: 2.48

How come the block subsidy is more than POW + POS + DEV ??

Where is the currently 5.95 DCR going to each block ??

Each block calls 5 tickets to vote. so it is:

14.89+(5 x 1.49)+2.48 = 24,82

Thank you. It's clear now.

Still, I believe I saw blocks with less than 5 votes when I browsed the blockexplorer?!

So can less than 5 votes happen per block?

( BTW, how large is the current blockchain? )
Also, I created a new wallet and wrote down my seed.
Not 1 but 2 words are exactly the same in my seed. Is this considered "un/lucky" and in any way less secure than a seed with 33 genuine words??
