There is a mandatory update of the mining protocol today:

All old clients won't work.

Decred has made stake version 3 active, all blocks have to have stake version 3 included in the header. All old versions of the mining software ignore that field and therefore hash incorrectly.

In the new version the "coinb2" field was used to indicate the stake version - the latest version of tpruvot's ccminer already incorporates these changes which need to be used from now on, please download the latest ccminer from tpruvot's repo and please use the new version ONLY from now on.

There's also a new port on dcr.suprnova.cc for that - it's no longer 2252, it's now 3252

Again: Old versions won't work !

Hard to guess really but with the next litecoin segwit problem, v1 release.

It might be possible with this supply. We seen this kinda runs much more earlier this year.
