What is the status of the foundation?  Bounty programs?

-tb-

The bounty programs needs more donations, which makes it hard to setup bounties. There's less than 900 DGC donated so far to the development.

I have used this pool for some time now, and it works well. No down time, Coins are there. The perfect pool.

Verns pools have no match hence why they tend to eat up all the miners lol

I prefer using p2pool, the payout is accurate, and given as soon as the mined coin is available. these pool are fast and efficient. If you are looking for a pool, next.afraid.org:8119 is right one.

P2pools are nice until with a coin like DGC you get all the transaction costs which add up to another 1-2% from all the mined mini transactions

Minimum fee transaction can be changed in the code, some daemons are set to zero, having a non zero minimum transaction fee, is not fair...

The bounty programs needs more donations, which makes it hard to setup bounties. We need more donations.

Currently, I am working on the forum and some client optimizations.

The foundation and developer newsletter will be delayed due to the current situation requiring all my attention.

Really hope we reach that point of normalization before this altcoin goes dead as well. anyone have plans for games and services etc.?

Coin age usually rises with average transaction size, due to the nature of the code.

You should have a section on the first page listing the total donations received and the amount you want to reach to get the ball rolling.

People seem to be writing this coin off because its very stable price hasn't made for easy profits, but isn't price stability what we should be looking for in a currency? In fact, that was the whole point of DGC's lack of premining & early-adopter advantage.

It's due to the many transactions being processed on a young blockchain. Processing is prioritized by the age of what's being transferred, and the younger your money is, the less priority it has, and the more fees that are required. As the network ages, everything normalizes.

Of course, you can always specify your own fee through the console.

Yeah I had to send my trans in 150 lumps to avoid the error.

Just a wild guess but large sums take a long time to compute on my machine so maybe longer than the block time or something so the block im putting into is mined before I can compute the transaction.

I am having a little problem when I am trying to make a transaction.

ERROR: transaction creation failed.

has anyone else got a error like this?

I had so i tried to transfer ~200 DGC-a not more and it worked at diferent OS, but i bet it would work at my main rig also if i tried less

My spoon is too big!
I don't know if it's something I don't quite understand or if it's a bug but the fees from the clients are a bit confusing. I only tried WDC recently and it was the same way. If I try to send something from XXX-qt, it tells me that the balance isn't high enough with a fee of . But if I change the amount, sometimes it arbitrarily changes the fee amount (and the fees seem high - like 0.4 DGC for a transaction). Why can't I specify a fee of 0.01 or whatever and have the client actually process the transaction?
