As far as names go I like this coin!
DigitalCoin sounds much more acceptable to the general public than such coins as YACcoin (where I come from YAC is slang for vomit) and BBQcoin (what where they thinking?)

As I said, this is a carbon copy of WDC with very minor tweaks, and will ultimately be dismissed as such. The lack of pool support, should be an early indication of such. P2pools, don't count. If your hash rate is low, you don't get paid.

1 pool, is hardly an indication of anything. It tends to make investors wary, due to the possibility of a 51% attack.

Other ppl did the same at other treads, all over again, high ping, missed the coin start, ect, fubered configs, get ZERO coins and they start to talk crap, next same coin its all over again but now those same ppl are hyping as mad because they got 1K!

And from a business perspective, it is beneficial for everyone, to back the already established WDC, rather than waste time on a copy. Sorry digicoin, but you waited too long to release. A smart dev, would have slaved to get Digicoin ready, before WDC, as soon as the announcement for WDC was made.

Port number used to connect? I don't see anything on the site.
If you just hit the home button it shows the port.
Now if someone can tell what settings to put in reaper with the stratum proxy I will be good to go. My cgminer rigs are hashing fine but the old one with reaper I don't know what settings to start stratum proxy with.

Actually, I didn't start mining WDC at the beginning, I started mining it a couple days ago, because I saw it was going somewhere. The only difference between this and WDC, is block size, and this supposed fair start. People will mine this for a couple days, realize its not going anywhere, and move on. I'm making decent profit on WDC and its apparent to me that digicoin will not match or surpass it, so why bother?
So you gave a chance to WDC and waited for few days, and now you know this coin gona fail just after the 7h after the start...

This coin doesn't bring enough innovation to the table. He basically took WDC and gave it some minor tweaks.
