I copied the two required libs into this directory to get the compile to succeed.

Why not to start advertising campaign on some major PTC Sites?
Or a new faucet?
I read an other coin do this and had over 250 new members next day.

Could you provide us with some URLs? Where did you get that information from?
If creating a new faucet really creates much new members everyday, I'm sure some people here are willing to invest some DGC into the faucet.

There should be big marketing campaign, after CryptoAve opening, but CryptoAve was closed soon beacuase of the bug. I dont know if marketing campaign started after CryptoAve reopening , but I did not notice anything.

Marketing has not happened yet. It will start with the launch of new coins and merchant services.

DigitalCoin 2.0 is ready for distribution and we urge all users to update to this new software. It is faster, more stable, and brings new functionality. This is not a hard fork and so there is no forced update by date(or more accurately, block number).

2. Compile a new client and move it to the old digitalcoin directory
On first run, all block data present in your digitalcoin AppData folder will be re-indexed. Do not touch the AppData folder as there is no need to do so.

DGC is continually being improved and developed for usage. Most other altcoins are either obvious scams, or mostly used for speculation, some have no dev support whatsoever. It will be a while until people will realize that cryptocoins can actually be used as a currency, and not just a fiat machine. Perhaps when Bitcoin becomes too expensive to use on some every day basis this will start to change. Then it'll turn out to be good to have merchant services, a java wallet and everything else that is currently in the pipe for DGC.
