Truth will out!

Expected circulation it's not exact and can vary. That's what you're going to see it on that table according to the Wikipedia block schedule:

So... according to devs schedule published on the OP, 26 January 2015 (estimated) can be the date that you're looking for  Wink

This is helpful, thanks, it is good to be reminded of the block reward reduction schedule.  So basically this price action is driven by the upcoming block reward reduction.  Makes sense.  Doge has hung in there and with merged mining looks to be a survivor.  So there will be some demand as there is still a decent community supporting it.  However, I wonder if the price relative to BTC will hold since there will still be a lot of coins out there?  I don't see a demand side boost.

Good Luck everyone!

This estimates are off a little bit. We are at block 365033 only. So ~35k blocks to go (~24 days) and halving date should be somewhere around October 1.

So the exact calculation is more or less that one that I've posted before?
If 100,000,000,000 coins = 1'5 years circulation
8,551,961,223 coins remaining (aprox) = X

X = (8,551,961,223 * 1'5) / 100,000,000,000 = 0,128279418345 years.

If 1 year = 365 days
0,128279418345 years = 46 days Since yesterday.

Exactly, october.

Maybe people want to buy some fresh doge before the end of minting  Wink Cheesy

...So basically this price action is driven by the upcoming block reward reduction...

Not only block reward reduction plays a role, here is some points I outlined elsewhere, copying to this thread:

1) Dogecoin has a strong developer Langer_hans, who is very active and recently released version 1.8 which supports auxPoW, which means other scrypt coins are starting to add to the hashrate of Doge.

2) Doge has bottomed and not going any lower (lowest was 20 satoshi), it takes only a few bitcoins to keep it afloat above that level, while Litecoin still has a lot of downside.

3) Doge community is second to Bitcoin only, and the school year just starting, the community will grow more as kids are back in school and share their passion with friends and actively involve them in (for) Dogecoin trading.

4) Dogecoin has a lot of coins, which some think looks bad, but in reality it appeals to people's self-importance, which is especially attractive to kids, and hence Doge will continue to have a large audience.

5) Doge is being added to twitch.tv as a tipping tool this week, it has a very good chance to become a tipping coin of the Internet, again due to its large coin base, which enlarges adoption by orders of magnitude. Other developers are making tipping tools that use Doge for other popular websites too.

6) Dogeparty project.

Hi,

DogeHolders   please take a second an support Zero Hour idea:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/only-support-alt-coins-launched-before-of-october-1-st-2014-767343

This is something quite impossible... lol. But definitely, a good initiative.

Everyday new devs launch new coins with poor projects or objectives, pure speculaion.
Instead of all this scam, we have coins like dogecoin that can be perfectly adapted to Internet sites, sources... a great way to accept payments and donations.

But you have to admint that's really difficult to control all the people rigs and miners... and if they want they're going to continue mining...

It is true but I think that each time less peoples will support them, Dogecoin is a True Coin, but today was launched a x13 ninja launch darkdogecoin
it is after DOJE,BlackDogecoin,DarkDogecoin   the fourth clonecoin launched, so it is a good opportunity to believe and support Zero Hour idea and stop all clones and coins after October 1 St 2014.Wich less coins Dogecoin could rise in value more quickly, I remember it in 250 sat or something like this some time ago.I think that low prices is due to so many coins in market.

What's the ETA of the end of mining ?

According to the stats:
Dogecoin is minted at their 91.45% (91,448,038,777.00 coins)
8.55% still remaining (8,551,961,223.00 coins aprox)

If the target is maintaining approximately 100,000,000,000 DOGE in circulation after 1.5 years (stats from the OP):
100,000,000,000 - 91,448,038,777.00 = 8,551,961,223 coins remaining

If 100,000,000,000 = 1'5 years
8,551,961,223 = X

X = (8,551,961,223 * 1'5) / 100,000,000,000 = 0,128279418345 years.

If 1 year = 365 days
0,128279418345 years = 46 days

But... this is not an exactly calculation!
