bter isn't the biggest doge market in china, btc38.com last Saturday's trading volume is over than 5Million CNY(about 1500BTC), It have the ablity to realize 20Million CNY Doge (7000BTC)trading volume per day (example BTSX, it often have 20million trading volume in btc38)

There has been 240 BTC of volume on the Doge market on Cryptsy, the chinese on Bter are not the only one who contributed to the last days' uptrend.

when Chinese bought many doge from btc38.com, there were no any support from the Europe and America market.
you can see it so funny Chinese daytime the Doge price climbing up quickly, Chinese nighttime doge price falling down as a knife.

I don't think so.For now dogecoin is still famous about it's name and meme pictures.I think dogecoin will alive sooner or later

Marketing can't back up doge current price for long.

Stage 1 of crypto currencies when the success was measured in volume of speculative trade only is close to over.
We're now facing Stage 2, when communities start to develop economies around their cryptos of choice.

Only 3 communities are more or less successful at this stage:
1) Bitcoin, which has the first mover advantage and a large network effect, its economy is the largest of course, unfortunately that also could mean that the time of big price rises is over, only gradual price rises are possible, as a lot of people are already involved and the potential is already priced in.
2) Dogecoin and 3) NXT - these two look set to reach their goals in building strong economies around themselves judging by their efforts, but both are naturally behind Bitcoin at this point, both are undervalued.
I don't see any other coin that is close.

Whether you should get out of Dogecoin depends on why you got in in the first place.

How is mining close to over for doge?  As of right now doge still has an endless supply of coins.  Infinity.

Everyone wants doge capped but that has not happened and if it does you buy doge not sell.

What do you expect for Dogecoin? Yes you are right, mining is close to over but the volume of trade is very low. for example in Bter now is 2 days without any up/down.

Should I get out of Dogecoin?

Well, all my posts in this thread are DOGE-positive.   I said couple of months ago, that DOGE will hit 50+ satoshi again before the end of the year. Mintpal went to the high of 49 2 days ago. Lets see.

The tone of this thread tends to change when the DOGE price doubles like it did recently.  

I printed off 60 paper wallets put 100 doge on them and gave them out at work and put them on the cars of the college I use to go to.. :O!

Although I don't have faith in LTC it has the following going for it that will continue to support it's value albeit in a degrading manner.

1. Wide spread adoption
2. Refusal to fork under any circumstances.
3. Proof of longevity.

There may be more but these come to mind.

Im sorry i was so superficial in my earlier post. Let me elaborate a bit.

Coins will come and go in the future too. Litecoin will not die. It will survive the low period and perhaps gain some value in couple of years. I was more optimistic about Litecoin in few months ago, but now i am not that sure if it will hit a 25 USD again in a year or two. What is this litecoin niche? Could you explain where is it unique or why should it hit 25 or 50 USD again?
DOGE will not replace anything, but i suspect it will be more successful than the Litecoin, simply because of its character.
The current top coins have plenty of room to grow. One should not replace another. Cryptocoins market is still extremely small.

I am not going in to detail on this, because this is not the right topic but BTC can become a more of the  safe haven payment instrument in few years time. People need time to learn what crypto-currencies are about and trust issues will ease in time. Liquidity will increase and solid coins will gain value against FIAT.

"This will happen due LTC falling and DOGE gaining its strenght" IMAO this is not an explanation to believe on what you say... we can be doge supporters and stakeholders without saying non-sense things.

Of course Doge can be as important as LTC but we need time and a better/higher infrastructure. New shops or projects accepting Doge as an important feature for it... ... ...
