Attention DuckDuck Coin holders!:
The people that fixed your wallet also have a new project called the Coin Revival Foundation. It was mentioned almost in passing in a prior post, but it seems many have missed it or just didn't bother to click the link to check it out.
This team is dedicated to attempting to revive coins that may be salvageable but have failed thus far. I wrote a few ideas on why I thought that DUCKDUCK coin would be one of those to consider. (It is on page 5, post #99 of the link below). Basically, I think that this coin had great potential with a fun meme, but got screwed over by the developers.
I am a coin holder just like you are (although, thankfully I only invested a tiny amount!) so I can understand the frustration on this board. While I rarely check in anymore, I did decide to click the link and really thought that DuckDuck would be a perfect candidate for the coin revival group. However, I am sure there are many of you who have followed this thread and coin more closely than I have and it might be a good idea to go over there and make the case for DuckDuck. You will undoubtedly have a firmer grasp of the situation than I do.
In any case, the Coin Revival Foundation is having a vote to decide their initial coin. DuckDuck is on the list. So, be sure to at least go over there and vote for the coin! Oh, and if you happen to know others who, like me, rarely bother to even look at this board anymore, try to make them aware of the situation as well.
I am going to support whatever coin wins in the Coin Revival Foundation as I think that their ideas are solid and worth trying. But, I also think that DuckDuck would be a good coin to start the ball rolling with as it was such an epic disaster! Which is why I thought that I would write this post to draw some attention to the situation. The link is below and good luck to the DuckDuck Coin community!
