What would members consider a priority between these two, an ebay style auction site or an earthcoin freelancer site? Please let me know as I am planning my sites out for the next couple of months. Thanks guys

At this stage, it does not matter what style, it is important that you use EAC to trade.
We need draw public attention as early as possible(must before March), once NXT, EMU BTS rollout, it will be much harder for us to do that.
DOGE got pumped 10 times in price because they reached our current skill level 2 weeks earlier. Just because we are 2 weeks late, we will never get pumped as much as DOGE. There is no prize for 2nd place!
I think our developer didn't realize that in march, no matter how much effort you put, you can't compete with NXT EMU and BTS. If you can't find your seat before March , you wont have a seat.
If you have any good news, let public know and get as much users as possible before March!

Is there such thing as long term project in crypto? I really fear long term project equals suicide project...
Since they sit in Canada, they might be sleeping now.
Apart from that they often came forward to allay everyones distrust. They never hide.
We need to see the greater picture , because we need to have more trust.
We just need to hold EAC, and tell everyone what it is about. When I am in Germany talking to people in the cryptoscene, everyone knows that EAC could be a big think. For now they rather like to ride the dogewaves, but they think EAC is a serious coin with a big future.
Yesterday someone announced the android-app and furthermore centurion has shown that not only earthcointalk, but also earthazaar are great pages!
Doge is not functioning because the devs are doing everything alone. It is growing because everyone who can, builds stuff for dogecoin and does what he can.
It has quite a good marketing, but what happens if the dog is out someday and a new meme in a new currency is coming. The best marketing cannot deliver "such" security.
So in the end there are a few serious coins left. And when Incryptex is built and all of us spread the word and tell everyone what this system means then EAC has a real chance.
It is fast, it has projects to make things better and it is not polluted by a pump&dump-mentality. Eac claims to be a currency. Therefore it is more important to get bigger features, a bigger community and a steady grow instead of one big pump.
So for me I do daytrading with doge and Invest a small amount in EAC everyday, because I know that EAC will grow.
In the meantime we could sum up, what we already got just to see that Earthcoin is far from dying:

I agree with you on this. But we will have to wait a few months for things to settle down. The gold rush triggered the flood of new coins and that makes it hard to see what is good or bad for most. This will settle down in a few months and things will be different from then on.
If you see it like:
The big world only just noticed bitcoins. It exploded for those who were in early and people jumped in to get some of the pie. But what people do not see is that such an explosion is not going to happen every day. Not 1 coin out there is being pumped every day. Those that are being pumped are pumped because of the easy money to be made. And easy money can not be sustained, it needs to stabelize.
But on the other hand, this type of discussion can be done about every day as the amount of people looking for security is way bigger than those willing to take a risk. And that is the most important part of crypto's at this very moment, there is no security that a price will hold. Prices are being driven by exchanges which means that no coin has any stabillity. And because those people looking for security will loose fait easy, prices will drop, the crypto scene will calm down and than we will see who is up for the label "a good coin".
Ah well, let's see how long it will take for the next "to lose faith and asks for security" I don't think it will last a day before the next 1 drops in.
