Need it on Dustcoin.com and that will help even more. The value seems to have dropped a bit since it first went on coinedup. My guess is an initial dump from the new avenue to sell the coins.

Dude, if you can't google a solo mine guide, you probably can't handle it. And if difficulty keeps increasing, you missed the solo mining window anyway.

I am not an idiot i have just never solo mined before.I always used a pool even back mining Bitcoin for $7.00 each but i would like to know how to do it and like i said i know how to set it up on 1 machine , just not sure how to add the other 4 workers.I usually just create .Bat files and use cgminer. And before that i used Diablo for bitcoin.

No worries ill take care of it just thought i would ask for some help here to avoid trial and error which seems was a mistake.

man, u set your bat file like this: cgminer --scrypt -o localhost:15678 -u **your user** -p **your psw** (obv user and psw without **) after then, your conf for your GPU

Yeah there's no need for workers since it isn't a pool. If they all have the same wallet.dat and you're solo mining on each of them, then when one of them happens to hit a new block, it'll be added to that wallet, whether you're mining on one machine or fifty.

I finally managed to compile Earthcoin on my debian server tonight (after hours of frustrated guesswork) and now that I've finally got it running I'm wondering how exactly I can interact with it.

Code:

$ ./earthcoind -daemon
EarthCoin server starting

$ ps aux | grep earthcoin
root 19919 4.4 0.5 158936 11624 ? SLsl 21:13 0:00 ./earthcoind -daemon

Code:

$ earthcoind getblockcount
-bash: earthcoind: command not found

The first two blocks seem to show that it successfully started and is running, but the last one shows that "earthcoind" is an unrecognised command. How do I interact with the running daemon?

Edit: Nevermind, I solved it. I just needed to run it like this and it works fine while the daemon is running Cheesy
