My 800 satoshi order got filled this morning - that's a great price for buying in my opinion - added some more orders in with my XMR profits that came in overnight - The price lends great opportunity for any people who want to start staking or improve their staking balance, I can't see the price staying sub 1k for too long with the developments that Steven is working on.

I pushed my market making robot onto Bittrex a few days ago - its now automatically adding trnsactions to the buy and sell threads every time there is some movement (trigger is a few percent change right now) - should help to increase volume a little. I don't have a huge amount of EGC at stake there - but I'm gradually adding to it.

Many thanks, starmman!

I'll get some more markets implemented in the coming weeks - I spent a long time working on the architecture so it's pretty simple to add new markets. I'm adding Yobit, CEX.IO and Novacoin next followed by Cryptopia, shame yobit didn't update the wallet yet.

Thanks to everyone that was able to make it the meeting. We got a lot accomplished and a lot more work ahead of us. Good things are all in sight. I'll talk to you and passing and see you next month. Stay frosty

Dev, tell me, what is the problem of connecting a solar battery to a Raspberry pi3? The meaning of the existence of a coin in this?

With the Solar Staker we're aiming for something that can stay on for decent amounts of time. The Solar Staker is also only one of the projects this coin is trying to push forward. The device we're currently looking at (The C.H.I.P from Next Thing Co) is similar in how it works to the raspberry Pi but requires less power and has wifi, storage, and battery charging and monitoring built in.

Products like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Portable-Waterproof-Dustproof-Shockproof-Emergency/dp/B06XCFP7QN (one of the first results I got on Amazon) may look good however when you delve into their specs you find that it would run something like a Pi3 for a few hours at best and then require days (or more likely weeks) to recharge from the sun alone (although that information is usually hard to find).

Based on the size of that panel (as there's no other information to go by) it might provide about 1W (that's a generous estimate) of power in bright sunlight (spring/summer day with no clouds), The Pi3 needs at least 6W and ideally more (the suggested power supply is 12W).

The EverGreenCoin community meeting and hangout is a Google Hangout. To participate, you will just need to follow a link I will post at the time of the meeting. The Google Hangout web application will work on a mobile device, a laptop, or a desktop. A webcam and microphone are optional. There is text group chat you can participate in. Even participation is optional, if you would just like to observe. You may want to visit https://hangouts.google.com/ and familiarise yourself prior, if you have time.

There really is no 'main' topic, as we usually just chat about current events, both in and out of EverGreenCoin, for an hour or two. We usually start the meeting, after we make sure all participants' device is functioning the way they wish, by me going over a list of all the items I know people will be curious about. I address these 'hot topics' in an opening summary before people have to ask me but, of course, we repeat those topics when latecomers arrive or when further elaboration is requested. At this next meeting two of these 'hot topics' will be the now past hardfork and the results of it and the status of the Android app... perhaps a surprise or two to follow. Wink In many regards, it is more of a 'hangout' than a 'meeting' as conversations do drift into many topics.

I hope you will be able to attend, rotzbouf!

EDIT: I forgot to mention the 'hot topic' of the solar staker. We will be discussing that. Perhaps if the weather cooperates I can have a small demonstration of my prototype.

Sounds great, I will definitely try to be available for the hangout. Probably just silently following the conversations.

I just thought - the crowd fund / donate feature is now (another great) USP for the coin - would be great if that information was added to OP, it'll both help attract new people and remind people where the link is =D

Some direct donations have already started to come in for the solar staker crowdfund. Many thanks! Whoever you are!

Donations for any of the crowdfunds can be done with credit cards, pay pal, or hundreds of coins including EGC via the websites crowdfunding. As well, donations can be made directly via the EGC address listed on each of the crowdfunds and of course, with staking for charity to the address listed.

Thanks for the continued support!

I just noticed that volume is way down on Bittrex - we are likely to get a warning in a week or two if it stays this low. (only 0.4BTC volume in the last four days - trex expect an average of 0.3 per day over a two week period - if not met then they need a 0.5 volume per day for two weeks)

That improves the changes of me making it - as my wife's parents (may?) have left by then - hopefully I'll be able to make this one LOL
