Great, is it just yobit to go now? Their wallet is reported to be offline - block height there is 892449 - dont have access to my wallet so can't see if they are on the new chain or still on the old one...

I suspect that means they're still on the old wallet version and on the old chain. That's the current height on the old version and that chain is now very slow. That block was generated over an hour ago. The previous block was around 3 hours before that one.

Be careful with yobit, as they sometimes don't update wallets and sellout coins on old chains....

The Old wallets are not able to send any Coins anymore. They must upgrade to sell something and on the old chain is not possible anyway.

if so Why is there daily volume on https://yobit.net/en/trade/EGC/BTC

Thats just bots or people trading coins already there. Mostly it looks like bots adjusting to price on other exchanges.

Deposits are off, and withdrawals seems to be on the old wallet. (but that was also the case at bittrex-status until they opened the new on.. its just pointing to the old daemon)

edit:
You could also trade coins on bittrex while their wallet was disabled.. this does not affect their holding.

I'm speculatively buying a few coins on there too from my sig earnings if the price drops more - just in case the closed/isolated wallet causes a rally. I was lucky with that a couple of times this month with some other coins on yobit. Pure speculation though - I already moved 75% of my yobit stock out.

Frosty, a community member that spends more time watching and trading on the markets than I, informed me a lot of 'alt'coins are taking a beating.

Presumably from BTC's price, as often is the case.

Fortunately, EverGreenCoin is one of the few not in the 'red', highlighted here from Bittrex.

Bittrex staff has informed me they have successfully upgraded to EverGreenCoin version 1.5.0.1.

C-Cex as well.

EDIT: C-Cex is still in maintenance. They must be performing a reconciliation still.

Bittrex is confirmed. Happy trading!

Only Bittrex has been confirmed at this time. So, cryptopia, c-cex, and yobit have not been confirmed.

By 'confirmed' I mean their wallet has been upgraded, brought out of any maintenance mode, and verified by sending and receiving. Do not send or try to receive from an exchange until you see an announcement that the exchange has been confirmed to be on the proper blockchain and is operational.

Sorry if any of my posts were misleading. Just because they have 'upgraded' does not mean they have removed any maintenence mode, resynced if they need to, performed any internal reconciliation, and been tested.

Hey guys I opened a topic in our forum for the the new Wallet. Come and give your suggestions and Feedback. I will open one more topic for the website too. That will help to have a good over view of the Feedbacks and suggestions for steady Improvments. Lets hear what you think.

I installed the new wallet today - looking good so far.

Good idea about the forum topic - I've added a minor comment to there - I'll see if I can think of anything else.

I make it under 400 blocks until the hard fork happens, at the current rate that might mean it happens at some point after midnight GMT (probably 5-6 hours from the time of this post).

Looking at an old wallet instance I've got for monitoring the old versions I still see a number of nodes on the old version. These should currently still be in sync with the new versions thanks to Chicago's hybrid node. However once the new network rules kick in at the hardfork they will go out of sync and there is no way to keep them on track from that point.

If you are still running an old version of the wallet (1.3.0, 1.4.0, 1.4.1, 1.4.2) stop it now and upgrade to the latest versions (links at the top of the page).

100 blocks to go (so probably just over an hour) and still a lot of nodes on the old versions.

Get upgrading people (if you're still on an old version)

I would think, ok hope, all the community on Bitcointalk would have got and received the message by now. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the diligence in helping to remind people.

Thanks!

P.S. Upgrade to EverGreenCoin version 1.5.0.1, if you have yet to do so. Wink

Is it possible to send a message directly to the nodes still operating on the old wallet / protocol version? I believe in some qt clients there is a way to do it if you have some kind of master key...

I found some documentation - not sure if its of use or not...

Done.

Great stuff, hopefully that will help a few people upgrade - I got my trading application working this weekend by the way - implemented most exchange features and have just setup a very basic automated trading robot that reacts to trading positions, but my test currency pair has lost its volatility LOL - need to refactor some of the architecture now. Still quite a long way from arbitrage though as I only have one API adaptor connected in. Will get Bittrex added soon.
