Not sure where you're getting your info. This was not an ico and there is no involvement from Musk.

I am reviewing the project documents for about 4 hours. It looks like a very comprehensive project, I will invest a little for ICO. Does Elon musk really support this project?

I will update later this week after I ran more tests. Of all the blake family coins I like to call electron 'my little bad boy' .... because it seems to devour memory with a passion much more  than the others and it took me two weeks to get new /updated nodes running with new checkpoints on newer versions of linux where I was confident enough to deploy them for the rest of the network. I think because the block time is shorter it is bringing out the 'future limitations' in the codebase these coins are running although we won't see these limits with photon, blake coin ect for years to come.... !!

after some out of the box glitches with the code as upped to the repo right now it compiles like a dream on linux but I am still not 100% satisfied with how nodes are 'talking' to each other.......

so.....here is my 'little bad boy'.... all feedback appreciated from testing. Particularly interested in memory use (on linux) and how long it takes for windows users to get the blockchain (in particular with the two new nodes Ive been running which Ive tweaked a bit for better performance) I have many ideas to test and try to improve my little bad boy's performance but will need several weeks of testing.

Thanks, working fine so far Much nicer/faster than Cryptopia which I've used for the other Blake coins. Let's hope more people sign up, maybe you'll also add more coins/trading pairs later.

found a bug in 0.8.9.6 so fixed and release 0.8.9.7 which you can get here: https://github.com/Electron-Coin2014/Electron-ELT/releases/tag/0.8.9.7

tested on win 10, 8.1 and 7 but any issues let me know
