Precisely. It’s true this is all open source, but just because someone is standing outside a fast food joint selling their own version of chicken nuggets doesn’t mean people wont blow by them and still enter the building to get the real thing.

That’s the beauty of open source. You are free to make your own version. Ours comes with the benefit of 4 years of transactions, a vibrant community, partnerships, developers, products and applications, listings on major exchanges and real world application. You can make any other kind of emc2 you want but in the end it’s no different than litecoin which everyone will choose over your version. Why are you so opposed to an algo change? It’s designed to make emc2 more decentralized!
