I really like steemit.com, e.g how it bring ctypocurrency into daily life and no TX fee for end users, but sadly it didn't have a good monetization method to support the economic system run long.
I am going to fund a Dev. team to fork Steem and make some changes, mainly is to add native ad support/ad system and bring in new reward system calculated by visitors, referrals and new signups.
It will be a POw+DPOS coin. After the main changes fully implemented, we maybe will start an ICO.

The result. As far as I understand, the future of the coin, now depends on the developer (s) and on the active members, but the maturity, adequacy and reasonableness, is spoiled by many inconsistencies.
The very idea of a zero commission, and an instant transfer is very good.
But the technique of execution and dishonest game makes you blown with great care.
