Just be patient and HODL. If it's real, and worth something, then you'll still own it regardless of creating custom nodes in myetherwallet.
It's just received it's first yobit-style pump & dump, so best to HODL now... No need to desperately gain access while the wallet source code has trojans in it.
Just wait for some relevant desktop wallet provider to add it to their project, then you'll know it's safe.
Also, you remember what happened when everyone rushed to sell their Bitcoin Cash free coins?

I will wait for more support from significant exchanges to come before claiming ETZ tokens. I will actually now go through the information to polish my knowledge about this project that how the zero tx fee will be made possible. At the moment I know nothing except few big things from opening page.

I've been mining with 300MH/s for the last hour and while I see my round share having some non-zero number, after a while it goes to zero. And all my balances (immature and pending) still stay at zero.

Is this normal?

Will Etherscan support ETZ in the future too?

It has been a while now without people asking for how to get etz.  The wave of people asking on how to get etz has reduced leaving most happy and few dissatisfied people. Lets go over some few key stuffs surrounding this moment.

1. For those who haven’t gotten their etz yet. You can use explorer.etherzero.org to check your account balance. if you want to get them in wallet so as to start sending and receiving you have to use this tutorial. http://etherzero.org/tutorials/
points to note..

if your wallet does not allows for you to add costum nodes then you need to export your private key to a wallet that does. e.g mew and meta mask.

The official wallet (https://wallet.etherzero.org) can only be used for ledger and tresor for now.

2. about exchanges.  Atm no exchange allows for deposit and withdrawal of etz mainly because wallet isn’t ready yet.
Note; what is being traded at yobit are etz futures and not ‘real etz’. It is our believe that they will be replaced with ‘real’ etz once conditions are right.

3. The tutorial is as easy as it can be. But not everyone is able to figure it out. If you have tried to no avail just calm down and wait for things to get easier surely when wallet will be completed.
Note: you will always be able to redeem your etz anytime in the future.

I think none can withdraw or transfer etz on yobit, they have supported the fork so the etz that is trading on it are the token from its users and mods.

i really do wounder how many exchanges just don't support forks so they can use there hot wallets to claim a nice little windfall in times like this

yes with etz there are no tx fees. nothing like gas..   Exchanges are being contacted stay calm..

poloniex never gave any support for the fork. most probably you won't get etz candy for them Sorry!!

After reading many pages of this thread I'm starting to get confused - red flags pointing at a scam or just FUD? Probably the best thing people should do is just to wait until the issue is 100% clear - anyway if it is a legit fork your coins are there forever for you to claim.

I think still nobody didn't receive their etz coin what they mentioned previously. I think many people are specifying there are many mistakes in the etz code ?

i got my first payout of 1.5 etz coin.. Tried to make an account on yobit but 12 hours later i've still not received my auth email so i used a 2'nd email and got my account in 5 minutes but just tried to deposit my payout however yobit says "Deposit for such currency is temporary off."


TLDR: Nope not able to sell

i.e. been able to sell ETZ on Yobit for Eth and withdrawal.

Fuck me this is so confusing its unreal.

So  will not have any fees to carry out any type of transaction using ETZ? And when will it be listed on other exchange?

guys i really duno what you trying to defend here?!
1-they don't have any working blockchain
2-they have keyloggers and melicause maleware in their software wallet and even if tht was a mistake and they changed it would you realy trust them after tht ?! if it was an intention mistake it shows how incompetent they are as a dev team to allow such a mistake?!
3-they lied about nearly every thing the said so far about the ratio of exchange most of all
4-the code they using is not an open source which is really tell tell sing of a scam
5-no white pappers when they lunched their site only after they had to put it on when the guys in GitHub pointed it out to them?!

i can keep listing to you soooo many things but you as investor need only 1 of the above to stay well clear of this scam
there is sooooooo many warning sings from day 1!!
why would you support such a shady project ?! and on top of all tht they claimed to be a hard fork of the etherum which is onther lie the etherum team (vitailk him self) said there is no hard fork from etherum as of yet ?! so you go to ask your self why they would lie?! hell with all the above you should be well aware now there is a lot of scamers in the crypto world and were even more trusted than this project and turn out to be a scam.

It all depends if the exchange you stored your eth in supported the fork or not.if They the supported then you will have your etz from them if not then you probably won't. As far as i know just 5 exchanges supported etz..
