I dunno whether to laugh or cry now... I would say leave the lost coins...
But this is bad luck, people were crying scam the whole time... and now this does look bad...
But yeah...I am a software developer and I know stuff DOES go wrong...

Guys, we have a problem.

After sending out to about 35k, our wallet file became corrupted.
we're trying to recover the keys, but it's both encrypted and corrupted and at this point we have no idea how to recover them, if they are even there
(the keys might not even be there, if the client only flushed a part of the file)
If anybody can help out with that, please do so.

As of right now, the first ~35k addresses (we'll check the exact number soon) have been sent to,
and we can't access the remaining coins
so, this is bacially the same as having distributed to only 35k addresses instead of 50k
and the coin is still Fair, just not the exact way we intended.

We're happy to move forward if we have your support, trying to push it into exchanges, gambling sites, stores etc.
if not, we'll scrap the project and try again with lessons learned.

we also have the option of creating another coin and using the faircoin addresses database to distribute the new coin

what do you say?

Faircoin Team

How the hell as a dev team did you not write down the private/public keys, even I do it and then hide it
Thats just obvious, for that exact reason.

At anyrate, release with even less coins in circulation, AND work on a new coin that uses the addresses already stored.

My opinion anyway.

I have not got all coins from all tokens I signed. I still have all the tokens numbers.

Yeah me too, but he meant dev team cannot distribute the coins anymore since wallet is corrupted now, 35k addresses distributed. Remaining coins ~15000000 of it were with the corrupted wallet. I hope the dev team already had their coins for bounties moved to different wallet though. Total coins right now? ~35Mil instead of 50Mil?

Can anyone tell me why the faircoin was removed from cryptorush voting?

I don't understand we were so close

Couse payouts are not over yet.

You want to tell me that all the votes have been deleted? Or when the payouts are completed, we are going to resume from the votes the coin had?

Speak with exchange owner not me about this.

I already received all my faircoins but I vote to restart from zero if the file cannot be recovered. It was quite funny  and this time there could be even more people and distribution. I cannot really complain for something "free"  Wink

You are kidding me!
The left coins have been stolen or lost?

If stolen, yes, re-creat another coin.   If lost, just let it go.
