No it isn't a hard fork. Yay I just found a block on the current chain! There is now a very low difficulty.

It's all good now. The wallet is in sync!

The wallet is out of sync right now because someone thought it would be a good idea to rent a rig or something. Now the difficulty is up very high. I found a block 30 minutes ago but it got rejected. Wow, I just found another one but it was rejected too. God I hate whoever did that.

O.K. that sounds reasonable. I am still confused as to what I should do to exchange the old coins,should I do it now so when distro starts I have that wallet.dat file in place or wait till after the distro is done?

Because that's all the blocks that it's gone up to for now, they are all 0 FIND blocks due to the Faucets & testing, it was answered earlier on in the old thread, have a read if you don't understand.

We just simplified it a bunch, check it out!

So if I do this now, will the wallet still work during the distribution even though the wallet.dat file will be from FindYouCoin instead of FindCoin?

I tried this and it does not work,putting the FindYou Coin wallet.dat in the FindCoin folder made the wallet become 3 hours behind the chain and it will not sync

3 hours behind is normal I've been watching the Blocks & that's the correct block info for the new FINDcoin, so yes it does work.

But if the wallets are 3 hours behind there will be no distribution so how is that working?
