I asked on reddit where to put the flappycoin.conf file, and got this:
/Users/{your username}/Library/Application Support/FlappyCoin
It's finally syncing. After you do this, leave it open for a while.
It seems to be working for me. Just taking forever (like the first time you fire up any wallet).

Why my mac wallet (1.0.0.1) is out of sync and says "no block source available" in the bottom ?
Yes I am trying to sync my mac wallets, i use numerous ports and tried to get my conf file to work. I have active connections but my wallet won't synchronize with the network so I can't use my Flappycoin or send my mined flappy to my wallet 
Please post your config file if you have been able to sync your Mac wallet because i would love to start using Flappycoin My windows wallet is not working too. They both say "0 active connections to Flappycoin network"
