We tried to sync our FLO wallet tonight, but the wallet said "segmentation fault" and didn't write any logs.

Judging by segmentation fault this is on Unix/Linux, was it compiled from source or a release on GitHub?

Hey Bitspill,

Glad to see you're still around.  Xploited says he tried both the source and the release on github.

Is there a recommended one?

No, both should work and I generated the releases using gitian so they should be equivalent

If compiled from source also it shouldn't be a missing dependency, is there a permissions issue with Flo wanting to write to it's data directory failing?

Which distro? Arm, 32/64 bit?

I believe she is syncing now!

Thanks Bitspill.  <3

Has any of the developers/founders of Alexandria/oip, FLO etc discussed or considered backing up the domains via namecoin in the near future.

This may be a little early to say as these projects are still in progress, but I believe ipfs are supporters of namecoin too.

If so you can calculate an estimate of how many namecoin needed to setup some or all domains and I would be willing to fund this.

We are likely going to add Florincoin to all of FreeBitcoins.com's tools (faucet, xchange, swap) as well in the near future.

Probably a mining pool as well in order to help protect ourselves and be alert.

I'm looking forward to earning my sweet sweet FLO back.

Aunt Flo is coming to town fellas! Tongue (maybe)

FLO slowly climbing the profitability position on coinwarz. It Fluctuates around 6 but is at position 5 now so I wouldn't be surprised if it's in the top 3 in the future. Considering the near to nothing inflation of 1.54% and the price is pretty much as low as it can be the only way is up so looks like everyone involved in FLO hodlers/miners etc will be profiting handsomely  Grin

That's why we support $FLO on swapzone.

A new hybrix node release has been uploaded with a working recipe for FLO.

These changes have automatically been applied to the Internet of Coins wallet as well.

You can now open a wallet with access to FLO via a direct URL.

 https://wallet1.internetofcoins.org/#asset=flo
or
 https://wallet2.internetofcoins.org/#asset=flo

Wallet is of course non-custodial. This means you own your keys, and nothing of value is stored. To export your private key, please use the hybrix cli-wallet which is located over at: http://api.hybrix.io .  Have fun!

For context: Medici Ventures currently supports OIP development and has implemented an OIP application with the state of Wyoming in Teton County.

Interesting indeed the talented William Shatner is noticing. Many more will come out to comment regarding projects that support OIP.

OIP is going to be a power house of an index on boarding the likes of Medici Ventures, Alexandria, tzero , caltech, flotorizer etc, who's next?   ...?    ...?    ...?

Long and strong FLOers  Cool

We will likely be adding FLO to my "XChange" on FreeBitcoins.com.

I'll post updates here... prob mid Feb.

My FLO background: I held 10% of FLO at one point + the majority (+51%) of the mining network for a decent period. I also own a small % of Alexandria and have worked a good handful of FLO folk(s).
