Announcement: Florincoin segwit development is now officially public
The segwit update has been on the roadmap for quite some time. Today, I have completed the first stage of segwit development with a release of the codebase on github. This code is for educational purposes only - it will compile, but should not be tested on mainnet. For now we will be working with this on a testnet until a public release date is set. The codebase is a rough draft, and will be worked on extensively during the next 10-15 days. There will be a final release with Linux, OS X, and Windows binaries. Keep in mind regression testing must happen with all existing decentralized apps using the Florincoin blockchain.

Segwit repo should be published tonight, I hope to have a testnet running by next week, maybe with digishield and other various upgrades. We will be collaborating with exchanges and pools to set an appropriate date for software upgrades.

Internet of Coins just put out their first alpha wallet.. I want them to put FLO in there, but does anyone know what prefixes they got to use?

They told me something about deterministic cryptography, but I ain't no pro, so I'm just asking here. Grin
