It previously showcased only popular games, which could make our users miss other indie or not-so-popular games (we all have those). Now with just a simple switch you can see the chronological order of new releases every month and add them to your anticipated games’ collection.

What’s changed though is our tokenomics model for advertising.
It used to be like this. For three years after the end of the crowdsale a potential advertiser would only be able to trade one RAWG token and nothing else for 10 views on the website. More RAWG tokens = more views, of course.
But now it will be only 1 year after the crowdsale and a bonus system afterwards. The bonus system is straightforward: the advertiser will be able to buy views with fiat, but if he pays with token, he will get 30% discount.
So let’s say, they want 1000 views and the price of one RAWG token on the exchange is $1. If they buy with fiat, they pay $30. But if they decide to pay in RAWG tokens, they will only need to pay $21 (21 RAWG tokens).

We believe that this change will positively impact on our token longevity and give unlimited possibilities for growth.



Nice to see changes in whitepaper that too in a very positive direction. The most interesting part is advertisers can buy the views for FIAT which is hugely positive in my opinion.

I think this is an excellent change, because it will give a strong utility to RAWG token also at the end of the first year. And in my opinion with a 30% discount many advertisers will be tempted to pay this way

I think this change is considered to be in a positive way. Now advertiser would have the opportunity to get more views alongside a discount if using the RAWG token. Between what will be the way of counting the views and what kind of viewers can be expected? Is it mainly gamers who will be targeted as RAWG is a gaming platform.

We have no intention and possibility of doing so since it would require to download external app which the user doesn't need to enjoy what RAWG has to offer. Just play your favourite games and trade those achievements for tokens.

I still can't understand the ways your project would pay itself back? What is the reason for you giving us tokens for playing? Just I'm a gamer and plays a lot but I can't see the point for you go sponsoring it  Smiley

Our main revenue will come from advertising, we will be providing the advertisers a way to connect with their preffered customers.
As for the reason we're giving you tokens for your achievements, you are our community that RAWG cannot exist without. We are a service and without the people it won't work efficiently. So why not give something back to the users? Smiley

The normal ones. In the RAWG platform you have the option to import your game libraries, infos and achievements of platforms like steam, psn or xbox into your RAWG profile. And for your success in your played games you will be given tokens depending on the rarity (or other factors) of the achievement for example.

Oh, that change a situation. What about MMORPG?

If they have achievements that you can synchronise with RAWG account, then sure, you'd be able to get tokens for them.

First step is achievements/trophies from Steam, Xbox, PSN, mobile then we will be thinking how to expand the systems further.
