For some reason I can't find a desktop version for counterparty wallet? Where can I download it?

There is only the web version @ CounterWallet.io.

I hope this is a joke...
So how am I suppose to trust what happens there?

Can I have some guidance regarding their web wallet security, how is this working?

Dis you invest without any knowledge about counterparty ?

It's not too late!

1 Day 12 hours left:

https://koinify.com/#/project/GEMZ

Gems is awesome but I think buying at 10,000 coins per BTC should come with a health warning for newcomers. I mean that's almost double the initial price and set GEMS up as already a decently priced coin. Long term good, short term I would hazard a guess they would get burned on the the exchanges  as some pure trader types dump what they bought cheap early in the sale and then ypu would start to hear bitterness from them.

Getting back to the actual coin, I am mourning the loss of the simple name Gems and the simple previous logo.
can we get at least the name back at some point if Gems becomes big?

Thanks for all the clarification guys!

Anyone still an idea how the fee is regulated?

I had a question about the fee as well. Will this fee remain equal in Bitcoin/Gems, or will it automatically become more/less when Bitcoin/Gems raise/decline in value? The current Bitcoin fee is 0.0001, which equals 2,5 eurocent. Imagine Bitcoin rises tenfold, would this mean that a single transaction becomes 25 eurocent? It would then become quite expensive in all honesty. Any insight on this?

So i can use Counterparty desktop wallet to send Gems to?

Yes, you can also check and see that the Gems passphrase you get in your mobile wallet opens the same wallet in https://counterwallet.io/

Thats good to know

I took part in the crowdsale. Now I have some gems in my koinify wallet, but zero gems in the getgems app wallet.

As I understand my airdrop share depends mainly upon:
1- how many users I have invited so far
2- the amount of gems already owned by me (my gems wallet - as displayed in the app)

How do I make sure that I get some credit (for buying those gems during the crowdsale) when airdrops take place ?
Do I have to send my gems from my koinify wallet to my gems address? (the one attached to my phone number?) Or is there some other way to notify the system?

If you want to receive credit on gems owned you need to send the gems to the application, since i am pretty sure it gets calculated from the gems app account.

Gems, GetGems, what's in a name anyway. It works so far and for a beta version I think it's doing it's job beyond expectations.
Big thanks to the developers.

would be great to have a desktop version ala web.telegram.org + Chrome app version too.

- When you invite a friend through a link that you share in whatsapp, telegram, etc, and people register through that link, I think it would be better if you are automatically rewarded instead of those people having to enter your name. Because I noticed if I really have to push people to fill in my name, it comes off a bit suspicious, like if there is no real advantage for them to switch from Whatsapp/Telegram to Gems, but only for me.

Here's the reply from Daniel Peled, he's on our Chat Group.

Why was the name changed to Getgems Messenger?
Anyone knows why it was changed?
Just Gems was much simpler, any reason to overcomplicate it?

People suggested the change because searching for Gems in any app store reveals tons of game apps, and even other messenger apps. Having a unique name (e.g. WhatsApp) is a very good idea. Getgems is a good alternative it has been the name of the website aswell, but calling it Getgems is no mandatory you can just call it Gems.
In that case I personally believe it should be named Gems Messenger.  Smiley

It actually was called Gems Messenger, but with the issue i explained.
