In late 2013, we launched a ‘Crypto-Town’ project in a small town named ‘Denmark’ in South West Western Australia*. At the time, there were only two ‘mass-adoption projects’ in the world (and the Hull Coin project).

Over months, we employed a wide range of strategies; and we had almost no success . . . but . . . we learned an enormous amount about how people view cryptographic currencies, and the regulatory framework concerning their use (in Australia).

Well, the other day I rang the Denmark Chamber of Commerce, to try my luck one last time because cryptos are doing so very well (and as we predicted in 2014, global tourism is doing so very poorly . . . ). The President of the Chamber is going to ring me back.

So, ififififififif it happened, we’d advocate the acceptance of a small group of the big-cap altcoins; but I’d also – something we learned from the original project – suggest that a ‘training-coin’ be adopted, and if the price of that coin stayed stable over some months, we’d have a real chance of having it adopted as the ‘local’ coin. GRS would be my choice because of this community’s helpful and disciplined community and dev team, and the suite of wallets available.

[Anecdote: last time, we put up 400,000 Doge to give away ‘to any one who lives in Denmark.’ Anyway, some time later, I get a post that says, ‘Yah, my name is Sven, and I am from Denmark coming, and please can I have some free Dogecoin? And two more similar posts turned up, so I gave these real and actual Danes some Doge, then explained that ‘Denmark’ in this case was a tiny town in West Australia.]

*And that's how Jackie knows me as a community developer: we bumped into each other on another project, and although I spent too long working on ###### Coin, I've been watching GRS almost since it was launched.

Nice, many people dont know about it yet i guess. Many hype regarding segwit in lots of coin while groestl coin, no. 167 in marketcap, have segwit activated already. Undervalued at the moment IMO.
