I guess I just gotta wait , in the debug window I see 8 connections and estimated total blocks are 314736 right now. Current number block is just increasing every second. And the block time ofc.

What block are you on? I think it gets alot faster after the disaster which is around 255000 or something

I also recommend getting the mithril man client after its all downloaded, it is awesome

I guess it won't work because the default program for .dat files are notepad . I don't know how I can change this back.

How long must I wait for the sync to be finished with the blockchain already downloaded actually?
