I still can not understand when this project will end with ICO? All this has been going on for a very long time and it is not yet clear when the finish

Well, I must admit the pause we have now is confusing. But they did it to implement a KYC/AML process. After that, there will be a 3-day Pre-Listing Sale, starting on 1st June (9am GMT) with a price of $2 per token.

it starts at 9am on 1st of june and runs for three days, so i assume it would finish at 9am on the 4th?  Best bet is to ask them directly in Telegram.

Would be good to get clarification and get one of the official 4NEW members within this bitcointalk thread to confirm this confusion so everyone knows where the project stands

I got my information from their Telegram group, so I am pretty sure they are correct. But I agree with you, someone from the team here in the forum who answers these kind of questions would be nice.

I think this project will be very vital if it is brought to Africa because here in Africa, we are drowning in waste and lacking adequate power supply

This is a good suggestion I think. In under developed places, this project is expected to soar because of its ability to help developing countries solve the problem of waste disposal and electricity

This is exactly what I had in mind when I heard about the project for the first time. If the project is successful in the UK, the possibilities of applying the same model in other parts of the world are immense.

I dont mind if the project starts first in UK. Once the plant is set, up and running.. it would be easier for the team to implement the same in other countries easily. No doubt about that.

UK is a good choice, and it is in Europe. I will look forward when they are going to tell us that they are going to have power plants in other countries aswell. Wise decision for 4new to start in one country at first.
Starting in a single country first is ofcourse a good choice. I think that they will defenitely reach out to other country's in the future but they probably first want to see how it goes in that single country.

Yes I agree with you. I think it is always good to have a prototype/test-run of a major project, before fully implementing it. This is what they have done, and I think the UK is a place well equipped to counter any challenge that may arise at this stage

I cant find information on the website with regards to the purchase of the power plant that produces 10 MW

The videos are excellent to introduce the concepts, but you can get a tour in any facility in the world

I don't understand what you mean by you can get a tour in any facilities in the world...

So i can just go to any facilities and take pictures and also shoot videos of the  facility without any one complaining?

Of course, how do you think universities get tours all the time?

Just because they walk around a facility does not mean they own it, which is why I asked about confirmation

If they  go about it that way  it means they are deceiving investors and that might go down bad for the project, i don't think they are capable of pulling a stunt like that.

I think I get what gunny is trying to say. For the purpose of transparency to the investor and also gaining a full confidence of investors, he is saying that some details about it by made public especially to the investors.

That will surely be a good business base for 4NEW, as the resources can be easily gotten and the market is readily available, though the main purpose of this project is to create like a backup for the steaming population of the blockchain community due to its vast power consumption but it can also be extended to corporate bodies and private homes

1 KWATT equals  1 Kilowatt Hour. Token Supply 300 Million. Unsold Tokens will be Burnt. Two Operational Power Plants. Electric Output 10 MWH.
Mining Capacity 360 Billion Giga Hash per hour. What else we need Smiley

Mining Capacity 360 Billion Giga Hash per hour?? WTF! Are you sure? that's incredible.
But with this project, much goes beyond my imagination. I'm used to much smaller numbers :-)

The team seem to be focusing on beating the imagination of the public is all that concerns this project. They seem to be driven by the good idea of the project beyond all imaginary limits

Just a correction, 1KWATT does NOT represent 1 kilowatt HOUR, it represents 1 Kilowatt of power, not constrained by time, saying 1kWH means that it would expire after 1 hour Tongue A minor thing but its something that confused people early on in the project the difference between the unit (people were confused why 1kwh costs say 0.20$ but 1KWATT didn't cost that, because the kwatt token is non time constrained

Yeah, you nailed it there!  It's yours to spend how you want, otherwise the mining rewards would be an hour of mining lmao

UK has more strict rules compare to other part of the world. If they manage to run this UK plant without issue, they will get permission in EU, and APAC without much afforts.

Are these power plants open for somebody to visit ? If i want to know more about the power plants can i just visit it or do they not accept it ?

That should not be a problem.. The team should be able to fix this it would be nice seeing an investor visiting the sites of one of the big projects in crypto space now.

There is no official announcement regarding power plant visit possibility, but you can this question in telegram group and I am sure they will be happy to show Power plant.

The team can confirm this. But I don't see why not. I think you will know if you drive there Cheesy

We would love to see your vlogging on the trip if you decided to. I for one was really amazed at the size of the plant and how established it was. There are two.

Funny thing my wife just today was talking about countries that are using waste to energy to reduce their impact on the environment, i laughed and had to show her the project as she isn't very into crypto when i explained this she was shocked that something like this was already in the works.

This is nice because it shows the power of blockchain based projects, so many different issues, including waste, that can be addressed by new technologies and incorporate cryptocurrency at the same time.

I strongly believe that the team might be already having some geographical roadmap where to go next to UK. This might be in 3-4 years from now. Is that mentioned in the roadmap? I dont remember seeing it atleast.
