“Digital is not that good as my printed comic book’, - you might say if you haven’t tried Madefire’s digital interactive comics.

They are adopting the original comic books into digital formats as well as creating new stories in a new immersive way. All of the company’s comics are interactive, you can walk through the story, experience it as a part of your world.

Madefire has partnered with Magic Leap to experience their vision of comic books, i.e. motion books in augmented reality. The pages are floating in the space, you can walk through a pop-up book suspended in the space wherever you want, you can make transitions between pages, scale it, and add sound effects.

Watch the interview with a co-founder to learn more about the process of making interactive comics, tools that you need for it, and the story of the company.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3hkfd7jklA

It looks fascinating, however, augmented reality has much more promising areas of application than books/comics. When will you show us a good example of the use of land in augmented reality? Now it has become boring, only information about the land and, 0 information about what they can be filled.

it looks like team is focusing on development of the project before planning to register ARCONA in other markets with larger volumes
can't wait for good news to be announced soon  Smiley
keep up the spirit for its development
If it was planned by the development team, I think we should fully support the plan, maybe the team has strong reasons why they prefer to develop the project first rather than registering in other markets
Because with a well developed project will have more chance listing on top of the exchange. Otherwise, the token will not be liquid and will be removed from the exchange. So they chose the right strategy.

Even more, this is a good example of how a project should develop after the end of ICO! The end of ICO - development - the finished product - the demand for a token - the exchange - liquidity.

Medivis (a New York-based AR company) is pioneering the future of advanced visualization for surgery.

👨‍⚕️Now doctors can do pre-surgical planning by having 3D planning beforehand and know exactly how best to approach an operation.

The company founders were both senior residents at NYU Medical Center and now they have a partnership with Dell and Microsoft to supply hardware and to make their big plan come true.

👀 Read the story about this company that already has performed 15 surgeries in consultation with the company’s technology:

Quality AR apps that you can use and have fun. Games and new ways of AR games and amazing gaming opportunities.

“There is plenty of fish in the sea”. You want to say when you open Google Play or Play Store while fishing for AR apps. Unfortunately, plenty of them is of questionable quality while some others are quite enjoyable to use and can bring value.
Let’s have a look at them.
1️⃣
Did you like playing tic-tac-toe or hangman when you were at school? Want to kill some time and play once again by just drawing these lines in the air?
With the app Just a Line you can do it! This app even makes you super eco-friendly, because you won’t be using any paper. And it also has shared AR so you can play with your friend.
2️⃣
If you like staring at the night sky and can’t tell what stars and constellations are above you, the app Sky Guide will help you with that.  Just imagine how romantic you can be telling your girlfriend or boyfriend the names of the stars and their location next time you go outdoors.
3️⃣
Do you travel a lot and faced the truth that English won’t help you in any part of the world? Did you feel that you were screwed when you opened a menu without pictures in any Asian country and can’t even pronounce a word?
Google comes to the rescue!
And you won’t need to type these crazy new characters into your phone and then ask Google to translate it. No. Just take a photo of the text and Google Translate will do the job for you.
4️⃣
If you have a new apartment, you probably need to make everything right and spend some time measuring rooms. The app MagicPlan can do it for you. Just scan the room with the phone camera and voila - you already have a floor plan and you can jump into designing.
5️⃣
And if you already have the apartment, but just want to make some changes in the furniture and thinking that this adorable armchair in the Ikea’s catalog will be a perfect fit.
You go to the store, spend some great time there, test out every coach, blanket, wardrobe, finally get the armchair you were aiming at (and of course a lot of other stuff - as nobody leaves Ikea with just one thing! Mission impossible!), get your lovely armchair to its new home and it doesn’t fit or match your old furniture. Oh no!😱
To avoid such problems just download Ikea’s AR app that has their furniture that you can virtually test in your apartment. Once you are done, just order online - very simple!
6️⃣
Did you dream of becoming Indiana Jones and travel the world to find treasures?
With the AR app Civilizations, your childhood memory of becoming an archeologist can come true! No need to risk your life when you can see historical artifacts from around the world in great quality right from your phone.
7️⃣
Do you sometimes feel so mad that you want to kill someone? Just breathe in and breathe out, and download an app called Zombies Go! That’s a great shooter and you can blast them to hell without feeling guilty because they’re zombies ✌️

🚦If navigating in a new city (or even our own one) causes troubles and you end up not in the place you wanted to be, it’s high time to rethink the usage of our navigator and probably switch to more visual one like Google’s augmented reality map.

However, it is not open for public, some people managed to test it and mentioned, that this app really helps you out at complicated intersections.

How it works:
You need to open the map, place the phone in front of your eyes, and the arrows will show you the way and will navigate you, but watch out! The phone will switch to a traditional map view if you put it down.

Developers are still working on the app trying to make it work properly. Read more about the app and its readiness:

I always knew that Google would be one step ahead, especially with new technologies like augmented reality. Have you considered any option of integrating the Arcona system with navigation systems, for example, Google?
No, we will have our own AR, at the moment, we don't have any plans of developing the navigation app.

🌏 Arcona continues to expand the geography of the countries where the trademark of the company and its main asset – the Digital Land of Arcona – are registered.

This extremely important process began to gain momentum last year. As you know, the legal protection of a trademark is only possible in the territories of the countries where it is registered and thus very important for the project itself and its name. Also, we care a lot about our users who will launch their interactive businesses within the Arcona system.

🗒 Read our new article to know what countries are already in our list: http://blog.arcona.io/2019/02/08/arconas-expansion-around-the-world/

Art and AR can be mutually beneficial and create a new form of self-expression.

🖼 Portraits, landscapes, and even murals can be alive with the help of augmented reality. AR can tell a story that stands behind that picture and even make more immersive and entertaining. Artists and designers have always used the most advanced technology of their day and AR is an ideal canvas that provides artists with full creative freedom.

There is one of the world's first augmented reality mural in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, that has a lot of different layers and can be seen via Android app. The mural is sponsored by Google and from the article, you can read how the artist was working on this technological masterpiece:

🤓Have you tried Snap Chat's filters with glasses and probably thought why frame brands still don't have such cool AR feature?

Well, now they have!

You can virtually try on different frames of numerous designs without leaving your home. The camera scans your face creating a precise copy of it. You can select different designs, share it with your friends and family, get feedback and then just make an order.

The buying process is undergoing a transformation and brick-and-mortar stores are now becoming more like a final destination in a long process of searching, doing research and only after that visiting the store itself.

AR definitely changes the way we shop and we at Arcona are just looking forward to seeing more use cases and offer even more exciting opportunities.

Arcona Arcona) we are all confident in the success of the company, but when will you be with the news from your own development department? How's the progress in iOS development going?  Wink
We are working on iOS now and fingers crossed we will have it by March

March? I.e., a development time of about 3-4 months, so the Android version will be in the summer? So long...
Narva Battle app - iOS only?
The development always takes a lot of time, especially when we talk about something complex.
You can find Narva Battle on Android.
