This project looks interesting.
Actually, we are a chartplotter, we are not a navigator. Initially, the chartplotter is a paper map with depth patterns. Modern products like Navionics are closer to the car navigator. On it you can lay a route and it will show deviations from the route. But we will have it later, so stay tuned!

Just subscribed for TGE this looking another upcoming big project so that from my point of view it will be nice opportunity to invest into promising idea. Hard cap is not so high that is why I think the team will get succeed to achieve this.
