it is possible that civic scam verify was introduced to lock out possible multi-botters, but,
only because coinpoker wants to run it's own bots, so then they can "award" prize fund to these
fantasy actors; and to eliminate or lock out competitors!

look at names in list of all-day-long playing names: these are mostly the same on fake "leaderboard" - do you understand how this is made?

i dont knw if are or not insider site bots , can be or maybe are not , and i dont cared about that anyway coz in ring games bots suck, but an audit can verify if are or not bots ...good luck wining on coinpoker,seems u have a high end phone, i liked the site until now,but i dont like i need a friend  for first login coz i dnt have a 6.0 android phone...and yes of course also in pokerstars many not satisfied but is a much more trusted site though is first one and has lots of games heads up and also sit and goes which coinpoker has not..... and i preffered even so coinpoker but ....since  this civic app , not anymore and no i didnt losed more than i won so not thats why we are pissed , people were required android 6.o to be able install civic app, which needs a high end phone, those from last year phones are not good.

Nothing has been stopping them to grab money so far. But they are giving away millions of chips in freerolls and promos.
Doesn't really seem like they only want to grab money.

Well, what can I say, surely CP is not perfect, it is just cannot be, that is how poker industry works. As a very young project, they face a lot of troubles and try to resolve it (except for the abandoned thread). When people complained about bots and multi-accounters, they integrated the Civic platform and literally destroyed at least 99% of it. Now you complain you cannot log in. LOL. What do you all want?

If you visit a PokerStars fan page in a social media, you would find hundreds of dissatisfied people who call PokerStars a scam. It always happen when people lose money playing poker, or when they cannot win for a long time, when they are experiencing a downswing, or when they see suspicious players in their opinion. Or, any other reason. Basically players don't take into account the theory of probability and the fact they are in tilt. Being in anger, they try to build conspiracy theories, complain, accuse, etc. It is normal, it is a side effect of the gambling industry.

You forgot about the site itself bots itself , which win most of times first 10 positions in freerolls...this was the whole trick, my friend..to stop other bots while allowing better colussion for insider colussion friend

Yes its all tonybet, these cheap lying suckers didn't even get a new cypher key and its only legal for tonyscam.com , they're probably showing everyone our cards in plain text over the network so no wonder they need more security.

The customer votes with his wallet.  When you encounter people using players as pawns you delete the app and tell them to email you when they get real. That's what I did. In any real business a 5% poor customer feedback has a company scrambling and making changes, not these scumbags, even though the rate of complaints seems to be very high, shows you who they are out for .. THEMSELVES.

The freerolls were nice but if these clowns want to give the chp to indian players and other fakes who will never convert to real players when the game is over then let them, the market will respond accordingly and traders will
devalue the coin to a triple zero. 

Truth is there are no real multi accounters that matter, only in the freerolls and who cares about that if its isn't coming from players wallets.  I played the tables at almost all stakes and its the same people, definitely not bots because they talk a lot, there are perhaps cheaters but you can't stop that because you can pickup the phone anytime and share your cards with a buddy.

They are basically lying and have been caught, just as the entire ICO was a lie about a revolutionary poker but turned out to be a clone of 2006 software tonybet, basically Tony's other scam site. I bet the sucker investors didn't even know that their revolutionary new investment was actually 2006 software.

The verification is a fraud, as you said phone number and sims or emails or anything is a dime a dozen and can be acquired easily by anyone who wants to cheat.  If I wanted to cheat I'll just call my friend on the phone and share cards, or I'll just play twice on a second laptop beside me , what the hell is CIVIC going to for that ?  Anyone can pickup a new ISP for pennies, or a VPN or use your cell data plan as a hotspot. 

Also the site is nothing like a regular shuffle so how the hell can a bot or even a multi accounter have an advantage, they may win a bit but eventually get caught and lose their funds . I don't like cheaters but I certainly don't find them a hindrance. cheaters are losers and as the name suggest losers always lose.

actually. since they tried to lock out computer players, and possibly the many multi-accounters,
it will reduce my competition and i will just make more accounts on more computers to grind it:

I simply don't agree.  If you have money left on the app....go get a phone that works.  You were told 2 weeks prior about the use of CIVIC.  The requirements to use CIVIC are right on their website.  It is your fault if you did not do the due diligence to check it out ahead of time and move your CHP back to your wallet.  Now if you kept all your money in the APP and not in your wallet, send a message to [email protected] to see if they will transfer the CHP for you to your verified wallet.  Not sure if it will work but its worth a shot.  If you still would like to play,  upgrade your phone.  If you can't afford to upgrade your phone, you shouldn't be playing poker online anyway.  If you are a cheat or a bot....see you later....glad your gone.

I am not a coinpoker lackey or paid at all.  just a sensible person willing to play on a platform that has less cheats and scammers on it.  Going on a forum to complain is your right....but you are missing the point.  Security and Safety is more important to players than your complaining is.

tell me now: who will compensate lost bankroll to those player who have no access to such smartphones
or civic bullshit;

you can actually buy a bunch of SIM-cards for a phone and register all accounts you want;
internet has free phone services all around, google it!

If there is an app that performs Civic's functions and works in Android 5, you should probably inform CoinPoker about it. They may add it as an alternative.

Those who are upset that CoinPoker is improving their platform and security need to consider how the poker community as a whole has been taken advantage of over the years.  Honest players who love the game and their bankrolls want a place they can trust that has value to them.  I would gladly pay additionally to ensure the site I play on is fair for myself and all other players.

If you are interested in CoinPoker b/c you want an easy target to cheat, go somewhere else.  There are hundreds of gambling sites that you can continue to scam.  The ICO funded a team that is determined to make CoinPoker the best in the industry with leading innovation and security...if that thought scares you....go somewhere else.

For those of you who can't use Civic, if you want to use a great up and coming site with the aforementioned advantages above, get a new phone that meets the requirements.  Yes it is a tough stance, but whats better, good security at a price or loosing all your money to cheaters, scammers, and a site with zero reputation...there are many out there to choose from.  When you go to a casino, you pay an arm and leg in rake....right now you pay $0.  Simply put upgrade or.....go somewhere else.

For those of you considering CoinPoker as an option to play and invest, please do your research and come to CoinPoker with an open mind to help build a successful platform.  The team at CoinPoker listens and is engaging.  YES, there are growing pains.  But those are all being addressed as they move through BETA.  It is a platform to believe in for the long term.  If this sounds good to you.....come join the rest of us who play at CoinPoker knowing our money is safe and the game is fair.  Don't listen to all the negative posts.....they are upset b/c they can't get what they want.

But, do you know what I want......Fair, Safe, Reputable, Honest, and Friendly Poker.  And I believe CoinPoker is the best option for me.

I don't understand what does all this Civic identification have to do with improving Coinpoker security. I think it has been a mistake, that cannot be undone, as it will surely lure away a lot of players (some because they don't have a proper smart phone, but most because they had become suspicious).

This new smartphone requirement thing may be for the best, as it helps dump multiaccounters, and other lowlifes that the site does not need.
Good people will always find a way to login.

SWC's software must be really dated and inconvenient. That's why they're losing traffic.
CoinPoker has very fast, modern and enjoyable software as well as a solid Internet marketing campaign.
And crypto has been booming lately, so that is changing things for crypto poker too. People will come into this market eventually. Bitcoin is not at all what it used to be 3 years ago.
