from my understanding that Joost was a part of dev team and he stole and dumped all the coins he could put hand on, this was a solid project but he fucked his friends and also the investors.
i made good profit on this project, sold on time but i m still intressted and bought again the dip and i hope they really do something and its not only a buy back orderd by law, cus if they develope thier idea this coin has great potential

Indeed but the regulation if done by government entity would be an issue for the companies and no private entity will come up to take this responsibility. A government overlook wont be bad afterall as long as banks sympathisers are not in such committee .

Anyway, at least investors will take their money back. I had some icos back then with no money back.

It was a scam, just a very good one. They bought and sold their own coins at a higher price and by giving the money back they are removing doubt from most of the people's mind that they are scammers. They made millions and returning 500k to ensure safety of themselves from the feds and different govts around the world. Paid a couple hundred k's to get a lawyer for the legal protection.
No lawyer would touch such a case but in crypto all the lawyers jump in since it is unregulated
its the easiest million bucks the scam team made. People may get lambo in future or not but they certainly did wthout doing anything and within a month! Well played scam team!
confido didn't stood for confidence but rather confiding of a scam among few people who were willing to do whatever it took to get rich.
