I can not imagine that we depend exclusively on AI in the coming years, we have not evolved enough yet. I think that although it serves as a support, it still depends on people.
AI technology is created to imitate human.
What AI can do, human will certainly be able to do it too, but what human can do, AI may not be able to do it.
As has often been said before, a doctor is always needed.

Actually, AI has the processing power of computers at their disposal, so they will naturally be able to process things which are impossible for humans. For example, analysing large volumes of data quickly, or multitasking many tasks.
I mean the entire thing, its not about the speed or how fast it is.
If you see why AI can analysing data / multitasking, its because human told AI how to do it (wrote the code).

That is the current state yes, but there was already an AI from Facebook which developed an own language (without humans saying they should do so) until they took it off the network.

I think machine learning plays into this. The AI will be able to learn. It's fascinating stuff but it will take time for sure.

AI can do better than human in repetitive tasks but still, human intervention will be needed for many parts.

You are talking about today and you are more than right.

But we can't predict how improve ai in the future. Can it be better than human in every area?

At some point AI can do better than human, yes that's true. But the other side, AI has limitations. We can't depend on it 100%, we still need human to make everything run as planned.

AI can do better than human in repetitive tasks but still, human intervention will be needed for many parts.

Robotics are trying to develop AI long time ago and they have great progress but AI intervention with medical diagnoses and treatment are a bit far, so focus on the medical repository and from that slowly move on developing.

Indeed, there could come later services checking your medical imagery automatically to scan for some particolar pattern, which could suggest the presence of some disease.

The AI will need all the data and information from the repository and users of eHealth so that it can learn. So it makes sense to start with the repository.

Yep, still a way to go but remindes me on a video I saw some weeks back. Check here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFuA50H9uek
It is amazing and scary at the same time Wink
Scaring videos? Look into this one:

We always should think about the dangers of such technology and be careful, with what we allow the machines to do.
That can not be emphasized enough.

The concept of EHF is very good, but I think it’s a long term project. The potential is huge but the project will need time to develop more the concept and make some partnerships I think.
You think it's a long term project?
well.. that should have been clear from the start, looking at the roadmap Smiley)

many people are expecting a project to deliver the goods in a year or so. this one will take a long time cause it's such a complex endevour.

Most crypto projects are still in beta or not even that. Even whitepapers can reach a billion dollar market cap. eHealth is honest about the long roadmap. That could pay off in the end.

That's why this market is fucked up! Just look at Tron

wasn't Tron a classic pump and dump? I feel bad for the people who bought that stuff. still EHF is putting their cards on the table and saying , this is gonna take a while. you gotta respect that.

Tron is still in the top of crypto. for no reason. EHF on the other hand is a proper project and doesn't make empty promises, but honestly says it takes time to deliver a decent project - which it does!
There are some other projects, I left, because they were scam, but nobody cares. If people buy the coins they stay on top. Sad

If that scares you check out deep learning, neural networks in AI.  They learn to perform task until they no longer commit mistakes and becomes perfect to specific task. Task humans cannot outperform

Ehealth was a promising project until they mention AI, but with a roadmap that long, it is also believable  Cool

true AI is still a ways away , so I woldn't worry about that. it's probably some kind of algorithm they will use.

It happens quite often, that a doctor made a wrong diagnosis, because he didn't see the very rare tropical disease f.e..
Computer can make suggestions, so that the doctor don't overlook such rare diseases.
But also because of the very strong psychologic component of the most diseases (psychosomatic) a doctor, which will listen to you, will always have the basic place as a human in this business.

That's a really interesting point you bring up there.

Many afflictions aren't physical but mental. In the white paper they only talk about mental health in a legal way. It's harder to diagnose because the data from the patient can be affected by their mental state.

It is definitely possible for a machine learning algo to match sets of symptoms with a diagnosis. The problem is at the patient level, the patient often cannot describe their symptoms accurately (especially in mental issues). In terms of information, garbage-in equals garbage-out.
Garbage information (noise) can be filtered by sophisticated algorithms and deep learning

Not at the beginning, but yes it could, one way or another AI will help  A LOT the app, and the diagnose made in general, and because the AI learn constantly with every patient that uses it, it will learn very FAST.

We are slowly moving towards a world where AI will have much more to say then we can ever imagine.. AI doesn't sleep and doesn't make human errors.

But there are something that AI can't do especially to diagnose psicology aspect. This will need human's touch. But, yes, AI will help a lot in another aspects.
I can not imagine that we depend exclusively on AI in the coming years, we have not evolved enough yet. I think that although it serves as a support, it still depends on people.
